Haha, most users don't bring along their cooler pads one what 
And so far most of the mobile hotspots I've been to have air-con, hence eliminating the need of a cooler 

Its good to remove the battery as heat from the laptop will kill it

Practise bringing coolers out? Or practise removing batteries when on A/C? 
My old Toshiba Satellite M100's battery only lasted for 30 minutes after 2 years because I din't know it must be removed, especially during gaming 
Learnt my lesson already haha, but then the battery in my M14x is integrated one

Ya, that's the point hehe, even I don't bring my CM U2 out, I just bring a file so that I could tilt the back portion of the laptop up for better ventilation, that's all 
Tablets sure come in handy... no wonder they're selling like hot cakes now 

cause some laptop's battery are integrated with it.

they are all the same causing running on 5v thru the usb port.

the actual voltage for it to spin at reasonable level is at 12v , so usb only can support 5v , so if use the fan thru usb, the fan speed/air will decrease by more than 50% ? lol.

im using DIY and it runs like wind hehe.

I no recommend you overclock your internal fan because it will make it die out faster as the lifetime is counted on how many hours based on how many rpm. Internal fans are very expensive and difficult to find by the time it dies. A table fan the blowing outwards 45deg on the vent should help with bringing the hot air out faster. There should also have an suction holes you can also blow the fan there it will be like supercharging the fan.

Or you can just remove the bottom cover & use U3 if you don't plan on getting it mobile.
