Then does that mean getting a 9 cell batter for the xps 15 has a better cooling coz it has tilted the lappy up?

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Jun 9 2011, 11:11 AM) Yea, the extra protusion means that there's no need to tilt your laptop up anymore when you're on battery... aiyak... like this mah very trouble-some to switch between 9cell batt and cooling pad? As for cooling, you'd probably need a cooler pad when you're running intensive stuffs anyway, in which you'd probably be connecting the A/C (and the battery removed), so its still better to use a cooler btw, is it a standard pratice to remove the 9cell batt when connected to A/C? |

QUOTE(advocado @ Jun 9 2011, 05:27 PM) Some computer allows user to stop battery charging without removing the batteries. At least XPS16 has this function. My studio 14 has that function... but have to manually disable it on the task bar everytime.... very troublesome... eventually i totally forgotten about it.... |
