U3 or Infinite. U2 still able to suit your N53SN but not 100% fits, so better take U3 as the price of U2 and U3 only different about RM10++.

can u2 fit nicely a 14" laptop?

Yeah, it'll be difficult... if the user is using U2 or U3, it'll definitely slide haha  laugh.gif
But its not a big problem actually since most users won't be running insanely resource consuming stuffs on battery; and they won't be attaching the battery when running resource intensive stuffs  laugh.gif

hmm,so does a normally the laptop will slide down on U2/U3? i mean not with the dell 9cell battery, with normal flat 6 cell battery?

Depends on models one  sad.gif
My gf's M500 still slides, because of the not-so-strategic "legs" at the bottom of the laptop  sweat.gif  sweat.gif

M500 is 14.1" right?

It can't because the M500 has two rubber legs which will fall directly on the rubberized surface of the CM U2, which is why it'll slide lol  laugh.gif

icic...

the fans are too weak , rite?

o.O
is the fan weak? how about U2?

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Jun 13 2011, 08:18 AM)
True, but if the bottom of the laptop doesn't have any vents at all, then there's no real point in having those fans right? hehe  laugh.gif

so it is the design not the U3 problem lo...

they are all the same causing running on 5v thru the usb port.

the actual voltage for it to spin at reasonable level is at 12v , so usb only can support 5v , so if use the fan thru usb, the fan speed/air will decrease by more than 50% ? lol.

im using DIY and it runs like wind hehe.

icic... hmm.gif

cm is taiwan.. zalman korea.. CM got made in china de.. i not sure zalman... nowadays everything also china.. but mine confirm is made in korea...

well, watch some reveiw regard zalman in youtube... the nc3k is too big for a 14" laptop... the nc2k design like covering the whole thing, how it goin to blow air into the notebook...

har nc2k too big for 14"??? did u said something wrong.. nc2000 fitted 14" cun cun.. the holes can't fully occupied my 15" at all.. i should use nc3k..
who tell u this shit? i wanna tiau that person.. i using it right now.. 14" suitable for nc2k.. but not so suitable 15" but still acceptable.. i type wrong for my cousin.. actually wan buy nc3k dunno y i type nc2k.. same price at amazon!

sweat.gif
i said the nc3k is too big... from the video i saw on youtube,nc3k even put a 17" on it would still fix nicely so it would b too big for a 14" notebook... wat i said about nc2k is that the design look like covering the whole bottom part in comparing with U2... since the design U2 was such a way where the ventilation would b good since the is nth covering the bottom part hence air blowing into the notebook would b good... but on the other hand,nc2k design would more or less cover the whole bottom part of the cooler, would the ventilation and air blowing into the notebook b affected...
on top of that, the nc3k design has a big fan at the center but at the side is totally cover up... for my notebook, acer 4830tg,the vent is at the side... if i were to use nc3k,the fan would only blow the air to the bottom of my notebook not into the vent...

but 1 thing u need to know is nc2k use pure aluminum & nc3k use aluminum.. dunno got what different but 1 got put pure 1 dun have.. as my nc2k at corner that part i got drop b4.. so it penetrate a bit & notice is really made in aluminum.. they said u2 o u3 can adjust the fan so would be better.. the bigger the better !!  rclxub.gif
zalman suck air leh not blow.. depend urself.. i still prefer zalman!

i still looking around... haven really decided yet...
