1. Not sure lowyat Dell sellers accept Amex. Even if they do, they might impose 3% cc charge, ie customer to absorb.
2. Dell online can get discount, not sure about shop.
3. You cannot customize the laptop in the shop.

Also, I have a feeling this month there won't b a statement. I remember last year during raya time, the statement came after 2 months. Perhaps, they will understand the fact it was big festival time and ppl might spend 'beyond control' lol. Let's see...

I tried using Paypal which link my Amex for some paypal transaction. Came out this the comment below, guess can't utilize my Amex for MYR transaction sad.gif

Sorry, PayPal isn't permitted to offer American Express as a payment method for MYR. Please choose another card.

Not practical. There will always be some value so long you are using your card. So long you pay in full every month then don't think at all.
And as mentioned by alexwsk, what you wanted is akin to not using your card at all. Then just cancel your credit card and work off cash because you will owe the bank at least once a year with the RM50 GST. By canceling your card(s) or not owning one you definitely would not owe the bank anything nor would you owe anyone anything.

Again ... not a practical idea isn't it given today's environment ?

You ask an obvious question to an obvious answer.
You will be charged interest if you don't pay in full every month and as simple as that. Obviously you like using cc already although I'm rather curious what sort of card are you using to get RM800 cash back in one month or just showing off. hmm.gif

hmm.gif Boss, There's no such cards from MBB that can get RM800 cash back in one month. hmm.gif

Sorry boss, didnt write finish because rushing to yum cha. I meant indirect cash back. The unlimited amount of 5X TP with AMEX really work to my advantage. i collect the points then redeem the voucher and just sell it out to my jiran and friends so its like i indirectly get cask back sweat.gif

No boss,i meant the indirectly calculated 2.5% cashback for the 5X TP with AMEX. If really got such good card that give unlimited cash back i think the bank wont approve my credit card because i really spend a lot sweat.gif

Boss ...

Don't confuse readers here with something that is not offered in the bank. Be upfront by saying you converted to vouchers.
I couldn't care less about how much you spend in a month or how much you want to show off or how much vouchers you can sell to everyone you know every month but I have an issue when you post misleading information in here (and in this case regarding cash back). Readers here sometimes follow blindly.

Already a couple of people are thinking you are given out cash backs directly by the bank.

Were you exaggerating? In order to get RM800 indirectly, you need to have about 160,000 points, or you have to spend approximately RM32,000 per month constantly. Besides, I doubt people want to buy vouchers from you every month.

I linked my mb2card to my other maybank2u account. I can see the charges there and pay no problem.
But i can't seem to find the statement. Is it not out yet? Or it wont appear in my linked mb2u account?

Correction. The e-Statement is only out one or two days after your statement date.

You can still view your transaction history for the CC in M2U like your saving account.
