They can penalty + fine you for wrong/false declaration.
No receipt = cannot put it as deduction.

Otherwise, I also claim relief I have 8 children. Ohh... tapi tak ada surat beranak. Mana ? Ohh... kasi nenek bela dekat China/India/Indonesia/Lain-lain (potong mana yang tidak berkenaan). doh.gif

I filed for pin application for e-filing since June 20+.
Until now not yet receive.
I understand the deadline is 15th July (incentive for e-filing).

Hi ,

Im new to tax stuff.
I would like to know from the tax chart, let says monthly income is rm2500, the tax i have to pay is rm10 per month or per year?

If Im doing my own business without registering less than a year, do I need to submit tax form now? before the due date? or can submit next year. planning to get hire purchase loan now.

some confuse in the deduction, the amount of deduction for every list of categories is per annual or per month?
can those groceries and house rental being used for deduction too?

Thank you.

Still got time, before 16th july 2012 is the last date to submit and to pay. So just register and fillup the form. Its quite straight forward provided you have read the Nota Penerangan. Groceries, is it for your business? House rental, are doing your business feom ur house? Did uou register ur house as ur company address in the SSM? If yes then u can. Whatever expenses for the business can be deducted from your income. Please be honest and dont deduct for something you are not sure.

May I know how to calculate?
As mention I didn't register yet, and start business lesser few months.

I though like own expenses can be deducted too? Such as food, groceries, and shopping.

Hi all,
I started blogging when I was still in college, few years ago (2008 to be exact) I have reached the level where I need to submit income tax, however I thought that foreign income is not taxable, so I just ignore it. Later I found out from this blog post (http://www.liewcf.com/malaysians-your-blogging-income-is-taxable-4216/) that I had to submit it, but by that time it has already been few years later.

Contradict to most people, I have a record of all the expenses because the web hosting company made an invoice every time when I made the payment, all I have to do is just login to my account & I can print them out. However, I do not have my income in RM as I receive my income via Western Union & I have thrown the withdrawal form copies away, all I left is just the statement of earnings in USD (Which can be found in my Adsense account).

So my question would be :
1. How can I write down the amount of income I received throughout all these years if I do not have the copies? Do I have to print out every single one of them from bank starting from year 2008?

2. Do I have to apply for sole proprietorship and file it under Borang B?

3. If I have no experience in filling up the income tax forms, do I need to go & find accounting firm & ask them to do it for me? What is this service called? Tax consultation service?

Thanks,
Adana

my mistake on previous comment. some updates from LHDN website:

QUOTE
Am I taxable?

An individual who earns an annual employment income of RM25,501 (after EPF deduction) has to register a tax file.

With effect year 2010 an individual who earns an annual employment income of RM26,501 (after EPF deduction) has to register a tax file.

If the employee is eligible for STD deduction, he is advised to register an income tax file before STD is implemented.

What should I do if my income is taxable?

Application to register an income tax reference number can be made at the nearest IRBM branch.

Documents Required For Registration

A copy of the latest Salary Statement (EA/EC Form) or latest Salary Slip
A copy of Identification card (IC) / police IC / army IC / international passport
A copy of marriage certificate (if applicable)
You can also register an Income Tax reference number via e-Daftar
