i think its better for u to pay a visit there to check the status of ur replacement unit...its nearly 2 weeks now..

cuz they told me have to wait 14days...so tml is the 14th day...bt i worry ltr they say due to bersih my iphone stil at KL main branch...

is that be the case i suggest u to call that branch to check the status of it..

they just photostat me a paper....write my name ic n telefon number...

Been searching around in LYN and came across a trader selling new and sealed Celcom unit which comes with 2 years warranty.

I'm wondering since it's new and sealed unit, how do I verify the genuineness for the 2 years warranty? Normally 2 years warranty only applies to those who sign up 2 years contract. If were to check at Apple site based on the serial number, it will only show 1 year. How about the 2nd year warranty?

Any ways I can check to confirm that the phone is under Celcom warranty for 2 years?

i dont think the celcom set which is sell by that seller comes with two years warranty...the 2 years warranty will only be given to those who subscribe the iphone plan...celcom careline also tell me like this..therefore u need to confirm with the buyer whether the phone is come with 1 year or 2 years warranty..sometimes they want to attract the buyer using this strategy...if not registered with plan sure the warranty will be 1 year only...

What if the iphone has signed up for 2 years plan and the phone was sold. After that the 1st owner settles the penalty with the provider and terminated the plan. What will be the warranty status for the phone? Back to 1 year warranty?

on that issue im not sure about the status of the warranty..normally the 1st owner only want to subscribe the plan only n dont want to use the iphone..therefore they will selling the phone. so u have to clarify with the seller on this...maybe the 1st owner want to use the plan(sim card) on the other phone....
