Guys, remember that Insight free service comes with semi syn oil...
[attachmentid=2278666]
Coz some honda technician/mech still thought that all free service have to use

Yes, but only for 5k and 10k service right?

For 1st 1k service, no engine oil change, just inspection.
Am I right?

I will b going for 10k service next week.

You ask from them 1st before you service the car. I ask them, 1st they said its mineral oil. Then query them again.
They the SC re-check in their system, and he confirm with with me that Insight model is using semi oil.

Just ask them to check in their system.

There is really slight improvement over FC after the 2nd service. Same driving style, able to achieve 670km, 20km/l for 33L. There is an increase of about 30 - 50km. Not bad though.

it was super hot today, so i turn off my ECO button... and drove the rest of the way home w/ECO off. Wow, can feel the difference - suddenly felt like I was driving sports car smile.gif

(haven't been driving w/ECO off, since I always drive w/ECO on, 95% of the time. good to feel what it's like w/ECO mode off!)

Do you notice that the aircond also colder when econ off? I bet its not due to the blower alone. I think the compressor duration also longer when econ off.

If i may put it correctly, the temperature difference is almost 3 degree celcius.

haha. dunno why, somehow i feel guilty whenever i turn off the Econ Mode.
My heart saying, why waste petrol when u can save it ... and why harm the environment by burning more fuel.
haha.

when i told my wife how i feel, she said to me ... 'you crazy ah?'
