QUOTE(psyeo @ Jun 7 2011, 11:24 AM) New Civic Hybrid Battery? Lithium Ion? coz it would be stupid of Honda to put the old civic Hybrid battery into insight...it is heavier and should bigger in size (I can sense some bullshit info given by your SA) for AP, do they even look at the battery which is pack and hidden away? I also agree with u, Honda Japan cannot simply change the spec of the car, its like cheating customer, a big mistake that a company would do. QUOTE(n00b123 @ Jun 10 2011, 10:26 AM) Noticed there was a significant improvement on my car's FC after the 5k service. It used to clock below 20km/l as most of the time i travel in the city and LDP highway with traffic jam as always. Hope there will be further improvement after the 10k service Or it might be bcoz less traffic due to school holiday? I also had an improve FC after 5K service, will see after the school holiday is over. This post has been edited by orbclyne: Jun 10 2011, 10:50 AM

QUOTE(idoblu @ Jun 15 2011, 06:07 PM) Im interested in the mud guards as well if you guys decide to bulk I think i can finally get my car next week. I went thru quite an ordeal to get my hands on this silver insight but now seems like wasted the time and aggravation since so many new stock is on its way. BTW did your SA wants the owner to go to JPJ to register the car? And also ask for Puspakom Inspection fees? MY SA want to save some money I think by doing this and charging me for it. What is IN2? Insight Second Batch? It Insight 2nd Generation I also want that mud guards as well.

QUOTE(ultramankaiser @ Jun 17 2011, 04:53 PM) any solid black and white regarding semi oil? You ask from them 1st before you service the car. I ask them, 1st they said its mineral oil. Then query them again. They the SC re-check in their system, and he confirm with with me that Insight model is using semi oil. Just ask them to check in their system.

QUOTE(iTrump @ Jun 17 2011, 05:04 PM) There is really slight improvement over FC after the 2nd service. Same driving style, able to achieve 670km, 20km/l for 33L. There is an increase of about 30 - 50km. Not bad though. Me to, Before 2nd service i manage to clocked only like 520+- but now i am able to clocked more than 600km. This is with ECO off. Feels happy now.

QUOTE(infinitium @ Jun 17 2011, 05:23 PM) it was super hot today, so i turn off my ECO button... and drove the rest of the way home w/ECO off. Wow, can feel the difference - suddenly felt like I was driving sports car (haven't been driving w/ECO off, since I always drive w/ECO on, 95% of the time. good to feel what it's like w/ECO mode off!) Thats why i dont like to use the ECO. Feels good without the ECO although it will consume more fuel

QUOTE(comingsoon87 @ Jul 11 2011, 12:19 AM) Heard that, insight IMA battery have to change every 5 years. Is this true?? No la. The 5 years is the warranty for the battery, the battery is designed to last till the end of the car cycle if u take care of it. There is more than the battery u had to worry, i worry more on the CVT, it cost a bomb more than the battery and the CVT warranty is only 3 years. This car already benefit a lot from the tax relief. Buy now or never.
