Bro, trust me, i'm quite familiar with android, superuser is there and i'm pretty sure it is rooted, maybe its because custom rom coz i'm still in stock. smile.gif

install sd speed increase or titanium backup.. if u dun hv root access, it will complain 1..

1st must install Hi Suite (can download from Huawei website)

1. Download superoneclick.exe.
2. Set your Android to USB Debugging mode. (Settings -> Application -> Development -> USB Debugging)
3. Connect your Android to PC. (Do not mount your SD card)
4. Run ssuperoneclick.exe. (Or right click run as administrator)
5. Click “Root”. (wait till all success.)
6. Done! (You will see “Superuser” in your application)

I use this way to root my X5, it success root my X5.

do i need to replace or delete anything in the phone?
is the step of turning purple screen needed?

ShengHow - No need replace or delete anything. After U do all, just click Rooyt on ur computer, will pop-up 1 box for showing u root installing. Wait till it finish, then restart ur X5. Then sud have Superuser at ur X5.

my 4Gb sd card dont know why
after i start my phone
4gb reduce to 2gb
many application also disappear
why be like that?

i think yr 4gb is not detected by the phone..
the 2gb u see now is the internal sd card one..

go under setting>sd card> n c whether the mount sd card option is there..
if yes, click mount n check again.

i also migrate from g5 to x5.. biggrin.gif
g5 has more customize on the ROM.. for now, x5 doesn't have option to key in proxy under the wifi option.. sad.gif

but when i restart phone
the total space for sd card show is 4gb again
but the app also disappear

This , when u are at the contact page, click on the search button(the last capacitive button with the magnifying glass icon)
