QUOTE(akash3656 @ Jun 4 2011, 10:03 AM) Well, not really lar.... Just to check malicious apps whether u accidentally install.... Btw, Lookout is a on demand scanner... It does not really provide real time protection.... Added on June 4, 2011, 10:04 am Do you have Adobe Flash Player 10.3 installed from the market? QUOTE(mavezai1984 @ Jun 4 2011, 10:18 AM) Just open facebook from stock browser and switch it to desktop sites and u are good to go. Thanks akash3656 & mavezai1984.Added on June 4, 2011, 10:23 am I would say antivirus are still immature on android platform, work kinda like some file manager, scan every files that u download, transfer and received as end up cause higher battery drain and lagness in system. Got the solution liao. follow mavezai 1984 1, work on X5. Thanks. |

QUOTE(mikeeeee @ Jun 15 2011, 12:03 PM) Recovery mode = put your phone into a mode where u can wipe/flash/restore fw and update.zip. In other words, this mode will allow u to mess with the internals of your phone Oh..Sorry. Is CWM. Hehehehe...Got such thing as overclockmod ?? are u referring to ClockWorkMod aka CWM ?? CWM is just a name of a Recovery app, it will replace your stock recovery mode into CWM recovery where it is more user friendly compared to the stock recovery where it wasn't even meant for end user (most of the time) apart from CWM, there are also xRecovery, AmonRa Recovery etc etc, however, not all recovery can work on all phone. For ideos x5, currently there are CWM and Perfect Recovery (also CWM based if i'm not mistaken) OMG..so many thing to learn. How to back-up the ORi ROM? U know. Mind to tell me. Thanks. |

QUOTE(shadow111 @ Jun 15 2011, 12:35 PM) download the ori rom from here http://wiki.modaco.com/index.php/Huawei_Firmware_U8800 Mean if I need flash back original ROM - just flash back the Ori ROM that download from Huawei website?Added on June 15, 2011, 12:37 pm i think the attached partition on the modaco page is for 2gb unit.. 1.2G DATA + 1.46G INTERNAL SD upgrade package ~~ 2.6GB which is the total ROM+internal sd memory that we have for our phone. U guy say download the recovery file or CWM file then put in the SD card with no ori ROM back-up file. Mean use a new SD card? IF i use back my old card, after success, the thing inside all disappear? Thanks |

QUOTE(piumiu @ Jun 15 2011, 09:37 PM) 1. In clockwork. Go to backup and proceed with backup properly before flashing new rom. How to back-up?2. Restore will be located in clockwork folder in the sdcard. 3. To restore just ensure sd card is there, boot to clockwork, select the restore and also it will state date of backup. and run. 4. Boot with all the setting from the backup including setting, sms, and call log. Added on June 15, 2011, 9:38 pmYes. the restore is what we have at the point of backup. In my case original setting plus all the apps and setting i install at that time. Just use clockwork to back-up? Or just download the 136 version from Huawei website? |

I already try the partition, now internal-1G & external-1.4G. Might need re-partition to internal 1.4g instead of 1G. |
