Lol! This thread is getting funnier by the day. (especially when HTC gangbang the ARC).

Anyway, Thanks Ultima for the Class 10 speed difference earlier on. Great help as I felt that i needed to get a faster class as well.
To the rest of the Haters....

You can ask lots of questions, but really at the end of the day, Don't compare Ferrari (SGSII) and Merc (ARC) , compare what you like and what you can afford.

You can compare dual core, quad core, donkey core.... but if the phone looks like cow dang, then why buy it? If u feel its flimsy, get something else harder.

Preference is the keyword. I still see people buying Symbian phones at sungai wang, why not tell them to get droid or ios since its faster and better than Symbian?

It's kinda rude to come into a thread meant for arc and bash it. I see the same going on at galaxy's thread....
aih! Malaysians, sigh!

Added on June 28, 2011, 4:52 amBy the way, anyone knows if zagg invisibleshield is available for the arc? where to get in Malaysia?
*
dunno bout zagg, but ppl claimed it will become yellowish in time.. got idefense which ppl claimed better, juz its a local product iianm.. u can c it in the garage sales.. there is already got clear idefense guard and carbon fibre lookalike at the garage sales

the other i tried to view videos from my phone via hdmi connector...i hate to say it isn't smooth and it is not even HD but I don't really complain much. It is still a great phone overall. Never will I choose SGS2 even if it is free...cheap flimsy plastic.
*
u on 2.3.2 or 2.3.3? mine on 2.3.3 feels the video smooth when watching on tv through hdmi.. dunno bout the hd quality part as long as its clear, i dun mind..

this phone sux.But exterior damm nice and sleek.
the memory when startup will be as least 100mb.
I found that sony software sux compared to htc.
HTC wont lag..but the arc will.512mb is not enuf honestly.
Especially android task running at the back.
The arc quality is plasticish but HTC is solid metal and rubber.
Good built quality for htc.
HTC has dolby surround system..The arc sound system=nothing.
When u on the sound max,the arc sound cracks cheaply.
U pay same price but SE quality is shit. The back cover made of cheap plastic.

Dun be fooled by the SONY Bravia Display and 4" screen .HD oso 780p max oni.
HTC overall value wins the Arc flat.

my experiance from desire hd to arc
camera is better for sure, even without dolby or srs, sound output from the speaker is better also, loud but not thin
built quality, well salute htc, nothing comes near them, arc is abit plastic
but yes arc do lag some times, a cleaning is need from time to time

love the way this thing feels on my hand and is so light in my pocket!

lcd wise, the zero gap between the glass and lcd really help, and i believe in youtube there is a screen comparison between htc sensation with its high resolution yet to me it is not as nice arc
btw, did you try reading both under the sun? im quite surprise by arc coming from desire hd

interface wise, i nvr think i need to do anything abt the arc, theme and all looks nice to me!

all i can wish for now is some 1 mod the rom.....make it lighter

HTC sure owns in terms of build quality. I have to agree that HTC loudspeaker is crappy, sharp and thin. I like the way the phone feels in my hand too. Just that i dislike the buttons to be too low at the bottom of the phone.

Anybody notice the screen have some sort of dots that fills the entire screen running vertically and horizontally? Whats that for? Bravia engine tech?

Screen wise desire hd uses only LCD which is useless in the sun, you should try Super AMOLED in the sun brows.gif Though arc fair quite well in bright sun too.

The interface seems like a launcher i have used before, forgot the name already. Interface lags from time to time. Probably due to the graphics chip.

the dots are most probably the 1st screen protector that is installed on the Arc by default

Yo guys, I found the Arc is very odd. I have being using the phone for 7 hours and the battery still 100%. Sometimes no usage (idle) 7 hours already drop to 70% from 100% charged. This is not the first time happened. Anyone experience this issue? The battery indicator is not accurate.

No not yet. My download hangs at 150MB each time and that is like after watching it crawling every 0.1MB every 1s. I think I would try again tonight.
