Hi, may i know if i go taiwan on this up coming chinese new year will shops open as usual? I plan to go at the 3rd day of chinese new year of 2014.

Umm...m not too sure abt jz sending to Taichung.I hired him for tour around as well.Is no pt jz sending cos u can jz take d hsr than cheaper lor. u got to remember tat jz sending then they go back to Taipei empty cAr mah. Might as well use him for yr entire trip to go ard n he can oso take u to SML or hualien.Along d way go to hehuan mt,puli n nantou.N u dun hv to worry wat transport to use to go here n there.n also ur luggage. N again u hv to ..sort out going back to Taipei.Well..up to u to decide.

anyone can recommend a hotel suitable for family of 4? Usually, one room with twin bed will do. I find it hard to find rooms with twin beds in Taiwan.
Prefer a hotel that have good service. 3 star will be nice.

just wondering, hw much do u all spend for flight,hotel,food and shopping at taiwan? if i plan to go with frens for 7days, is rm2000 enuf to cover all expenses including shopping?

I spent 2k for expenses, light shopping, food and transport. Excluded flight ticket and accommodation. 9 day in Taipei.
