tai zhong besides lepas lantern still got what to do? but jiu fen also night time pretty right? im planning to go to jiu fen & 10 fen.. but seems like both places also look nicer if go at night..

tai zhung is in taiwan area...u try to seacrh tis theme park (formosan aboriginal village )

ya not planning to go to the formosan village.... tai zhong seems like fen jia market is famous.. & maybe glass temple?

1st take bus to rui fang from taipei train station , and from rui fang , take kee lung bus to jiu fern?

Based on my research, the easiest way to get to Jiufen from Taipei is probably via a train to Ruifang (瑞芳) station and then followed by bus (either bus #1062 or #1042). In fact, any buses that have destination Jiufen or Jinguashi (金瓜石) will bring you to Jiufen.

The bus stop is also conveniently located just opposite Ruifang station. Once you are out of the station, cross the road and the bus stop is in front of the shops. The bus journey is about 20 minutes up the mountain road and if you have motion sickness, you may want to get ready the necessities such as sour plums. The ride was very comfortable to me though and by the way, you can use the EasyCard for the bus fare

Locating the bus stop at Ruifang is easy but knowing where to alight at Jiufen may be a little tricky as the bus stop is just after a bend. The good news is that there are usually a lot of people alighting at this stop and if you are unsure, you can always request the bus driver to notify you when you reach Jiufen. Bus drivers in Taiwan are generally very friendly people and I have not had any unpleasant experience with them (yet). In any case if you miss the Jiufen stop, you will probably end up in Jinguashi, which is about 10 min away. Just take the bus in reverse direction back to Jiufen and you should be alright. if i plan to go to yeh liu and gold eco park b4 heading to jiu fern

cz my hotel is in jiu fern , i plan to go to yeh liu-gold eco park -only to jiu fern

since jiu fern is close early at nite...is it possible to make a way to kee lung market as well?

Maybe you can go Gold Eco Park first then head to Yehliu then only to Miaokou Keelung night market?

then i might missed the jiu fern part lo

But you stay at Jiufen, can drop by any shops at Jiufen ma.
Or you can walk walk in the morning before go Gold Eco Park.

That's my plan to stay 2 nights at Jiufen, so can travel around there and also can spend more time at Jiufen. 

becz jiu fern shop closed early compare to kee lung market

formosa village is at sun moon lake. not sure how are you travelling to there though. if by driver maybe can him bring u around the lake.

can someone comment if my timing will be tight or not? this is what i have detail out:-

day 1
taoyuan - taipei. i stay in ximending. i will arrive taoyuan airport by 10am. i estimate only afternoon time will reach taipei.
basically this 1st day i will just go around ximending, might drop to chiang kai shek memorial, and by evening go to shihlin nightmarket

day 2
morning i use cab to go to yehliu geopark. i target to reach back the taipei main station by afternoon or latest by 1pm. i try avoid public transport/bus coz i wanna save more time as i plan to use TRA to hualien on 2.30pm. this train is "labelled taroko" and it takes only 2hrs ++ instead of the 3hrs train. will reach hualien by 4.30. check in hotel & stay in chisingtang. will go around the beach/sea side. then night go to the tzechiang night market food hunting. might drop by nanbin nightmarket as well if there is time and not tired

day 3 - i use driver to tour on this day
hualien - chingsui cliff - taroko - hehuanshan - cingjing. im not sure how long will it takes to spend time in taroko. and around what time i will reach cingjing. spend a night in cingjing

day 4 - i use driver to tour on this day
cingjing - puli (wine brewery & chocolate factory) - sun moon lake (wenwu temple, peacock farm, ci-en pagoda) stay a night in sun moon lake
dont know if have time to take the boat tour. if not leave it for the next day

day 5
sun moon lake - FACV (at least half day spend here??) - taichung (visit the happy buddha temple if have time) - fengjia nightmarket. stay a night in taichung.

on day 6
by morning i will take HSR back to taipei. i target to arrive taipei before 12 or earlier. after that i will hired a cab to jiufen.
i wanna ask if half day is sufficient for me to cover jiufen/jinguashi/shifen/keelung/miaokou? what time will i arrive back to taipei? by 6 or 7 can make it?
this is a saturday night. i plan to go for a fine dining and have some drinks. might drop by to some pubs/bars/clubs

on day 7
beitou hotspring/danshui/wufenpu/raohe
can i go to hotspring if i drink on my day 6 night? plan to go bars/clubs

on day 8
shopping - taipei101/shin kong mitsukoshi/sogo/hello kitty restaurant/shida nightmarket

on day 9
my flight back msia is 10am
what time should i leave taipei? i will use cab coz i forseen many luggages

hmm roughly what time the shops at jiu fen close at? and normally what time they open you know?

should i spare 1 day for jiu fen & shi fen? i will be staying back in taipei.. roughly from jiu fen to shi fen how long it takes?

for the glass temple im also not sure what is the attraction.. because i only plan to go to feng jia night market.. but feel like it will be a waste if only go to feng jia at tai zhong.. dont plan to go to re yue tan or the theme park there... any other better thing to do in tai zhong?
