AIR PANAS in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur is set to have new sports complex soon.

“We will carry out sports activities organised by Kuala Lumpur City Hall there and it will also be used as a training ground for athletes representing the Federal Territories,’’ Fuad said.

“We also want KL residents to use the facilities and the fees would be reasonable.

“We want to make it affordable for the public as we want the people to use it,” he said, adding that the complex would be able to cater to about 10,000 to 15,000 people.

Setapak residents welcome the idea as the area faces a shortage of playing fields for sports activities.

Even the schools in the vicinity face difficulties organising sports activities.

“This is good news as, currently, there is only one field in Air Panas for everyone to share.

“It would be good to have a place to carry out sports events and hang out,’’ resident A. Senthil said.

Setiawangsa MP Datuk Seri Zulhasnan Rafique welcomed the construction of the complex, saying that Setiawangsa did not have a community hall for the people to hold functions and dialogues.

He said the community hall being built as part of the sports complex would provide a place for the residents to come together and interact to foster the muhibah spirit.

Setiawangsa Educational Development Consultative Council chairman Ruslan Madon agreed with Zulhasnan.

“I also think the government should build sports complexes in every constituency in FT to provide the community and the schools a place to carry out functions and events.

“I also believe that schools, in particular, will fully utilise the facilities,’’ Ruslan said.

Currently, there are two major sports complexes in the city — the Bandar Tun Razak sports centre and Bukit Jalil National Sports Complex.

Kompleks Sukan 1 Malaysia will be the third sports centre in the city catering for city folks.

Btw, how long do u think setapak property gap will reach 500psf?it mean klcc,ampang,mont kiara,sentul area fully utilise liao n no more land...

Haha... Just now I am just kidding... For the true one... I think after complete 222/288/SG will up 20~30% as normal (For new development -> completion price up).

Assume the price now is 300 psf, after completed will be around 360~400 psf lor.... Then after 5 (2019) to 10 (2024) years, it can go to 500 psf...

I might long hold for it until 15 ~ 20 years... Hope it can go to RM 650 psf.... rclxm9.gif

Just my very o.o1 + o.o1 cents.... blush.gif

we got 2 phase 1 and 2 soon going to be 3(new project high end but no quality and standard)

they dont even bother to repair those crack water seep in , they rectified it with poor material and after a while CRACK appear , BAD workmanship, those crack appeared after few month we stay.

and even their boss DATO "M" also giving us empty promises

there is lot more issue like hand over account etc.... we going to complaint to all authorities

we gonna call the press soon

election is coming hope they will listen

SETAPAK HEIGHT ARRAGONT i will post there new project location picture soon and wait for out BANNER
