bro sorry if u already explain this before. but what do u mean by your statement? becoz im going to malacca next 2 weeks and gonna be there for 5days, i apply for RM28 packages, so not umobile line there, it will roam into celcom 2g line? what is the maximum speed of celcom 2g line?
*
If i am not mistaken, the speed for the EDGE should be less than 10kb/s.

Just check with U Mobile Pyramid yesterday,  Prepaid able to roam on Celcom 2G  rclxms.gif, Postpaid cannot  ohmy.gif

I have tested Maxix EDGE before, acceptable, hopefully Celcom one is good too, don't be surprised if it's running at turtle speed, lol

GPRS: refers to a service on the 2G network that provide maximum basic data rates of between 56-114Kbps (like dial-up speed).
EDGE: EGPRS can carry a bandwidth up to 236.8 kbit/s

*
I tested Digi's speed (maybe GPRS) i think. It is about 5.6kb/s constantly.

Speed trest in Kuang, Selangor (between Rawang and Sungai Buloh). U Mobile has HSPA here according to the mobile partner software. Low ping, high upload speed, slow download speed.  blink.gif  blink.gif

okay, thx, that means every month i top-up RM30 then can use the internet already?
*
I don't see why you cannot enjoy the RM28/month unlimited internet package if you have top up to sufficient credit and subscribed to the plan.

Whatsapp is one of the best way of using the plan after RM28/month unlimited internet quota plan and the speed throttling kicks in.

Recently, not sure why the internet seems to be not so consistent anymore. I am ok with 64kbps, but it is the inconsistency that touches my nerve.

*
I don't think you can check it through easy menu though other than what you have said..

i think as long as you have sufficient fund on the a\c before the due date, it is auto renew ...the customer advisor told me, am I right?
*
I am not really sure about the auto renewal, but i can tell you that the RM28/month unlimited internet is auto renewing one as long as there is a sufficient credit inside the account.
