I tought of getting sager lappy but so hectic to go trough custom. ~ =.=

But i wonder. Can Sager actually change its like say GC or CPU like Desktop computer?

But im thinking the new GTX 560 and i7 2nd gen is good .. It all for gaming so 500GB is sufficent. Want to play and delete after finish game just to make space for new game.
Im currently use my Acer core 2 duo with GT9600m. After 3 Years, it seems it cant run much of todays game. So sad ~~

GTX 485 more power than GTX 560 ?? How come ? GTX 560 is the latest right? The core is 775mhz for GTX560 while 485 is 557mhz. How can be so power ?

Laptop is for traveling. Since im mostly on my work area than my home.

I wonder about Sager sound system /.. Which brand is it ? Is it 5.1 ? or not ?

That Sager NP8150 comes with GTX580... Is this the spec or another upgrade?

8130 can upgrade to gtx 580? i cant find the options there.

Can np8130 upgrade? Lets say after a year or so. i want to upgrade the CPU or GPU only. Can this be done?

Any suggestion.. Ill opt for sager since my budget is 5k for gaming laptop. Which one is the Best since im also looking for the lappy that can upgrade in the future.

If OC GPU or CPU and it could damage it. Can get a new GPU or CPU to replace it without changing the whole set. Plus where can get the spare parts ?

So meaning any damage part i can get replacement easy. Hmmmm Intresting.

=.="~ The games your playing does not require powerful graphic card, gtx 560 is good enough. Is the game Civilization V or the first Civilization ? I have to lower my GC to a point of using DX9 with lowest setting. Currently using Acer 6935G ~ 9600mgt.. Which from notebook check is class 3 graphic card. ~~ I love to playgame with high setting and smoothness like COD, SniperGhost worrior, Dukenukem3d, GTAIV, Dragon age... looking forward to Oblivion:Skyrim, bioshock-unlimited, Alice:Maddness return, FEAR3.

NP8170 is good 17inch with gtx560. This GC can run a lot of latest games with high setting since you dont play FPS but still it is a powerful GC.. its 1st class graphic cards. Good pick i say.

No Phsyx, i no like. I own an ATI5870 (now gif to my bro) play batman and see no Physx effect.. really turn me down.
Now game some game use Physx like Alice Madness return and Crysis 2. People say its an eyecandy but for me, its a DAMN good eyecandy.
So no ATI for me, im on the green house.

As high as the frame rate goes, your eyes couldnt detect any problem when playing games cause we view the benchmark frame rates and assume its not as fast as we expected but i prefer what my eyes can see, my current laptop is lagging like helll cos it is Duo core on 9600mgt. Playing game is for fun and the story, atmosphere of the game trying to convey. Too much of noticing frame rate every second of the game is totally vexing. If i do this, i totally throw away my lappy, why even bother buy a super gaming lappy when your concern is the rate of frame it produce?
At home, I use high-end graphic card to play games but working time i have to bear with the laggy, choppy game. Games played smooth with more eye-candy is what a gamer want, if you play most FPS game, its not all totally action every second. Beside there is a lots of game like 3rd person eg.GTAIV, AliceMadness, Splintercell, Batman does not require super frame rate. But this game do carry a good eye-candy experience which give me satisfation of playing. I cant wait for TOMB RIDER REBOOT, more PhysX there. Nowadays, so many game using PhysX and it makes my day. ~~ Cheers Yo !!

Check it on you tube .. difference between physx on and off. Or to say the least Nvidia and ATI.
See the Batman Arkham physx on and off.. you will see the difference.. see mafia 2 as well.

It shows if ultra can slow you down.. just adjust it to high setting without sacraficing the PhysX, but from what i see, it shows high setting gives above 50 FPS. So it a smooth gameplay with PhysX and a good eye-candy.
Difference of this cards is about 10~15 FPS. You might say, "PhysX slow game during gameplay if too much is phsyx appear to happen at all places but hey, ATi do NOT have physx at all. Its no wonder they can run fast.
If i want to play a very lag free smooth game, i just turn off the PhysX. Ambience of every game using physx is important for an enjoyable gameplay.

PhysX setting use is incase your comp cant cope with it. Now almost all Nvidia card can support physx. But playing mobility computer is another thing since it cant compare to a desktop GC.
Lets look at the upcoming game ... Dead Island. There is a you tube demo and this game use PhysX for enviroment. Its not a super high action game which frame rate is not a concern judging by the game but sort of survivor horror in FPS. This shows open world (sandbox) game using beautiful enviroment add realism of PhysX.
