QUOTE(Angel of Deth @ May 1 2012, 06:53 AM) I believe money alone is not enough. Any organization will still need a right person to guide them no matter how much fund they have. Where's Mark Hughes and QPR today after series of spending spree? Also Malaga CF were absolutely poor few months ago, i thought Pellegrini was close to be sacked. that is why the man himself needs to be GOOD. |

Money doesn't guarantee success but it surely helps but with the amount he has spent, he has no excuse to not win the league. |

QUOTE(Lionel10Messi @ May 1 2012, 05:28 AM) to be honest he is a pretty crappy manager. Actually he's not bad as a manager, substituted Tevez and Silva to save their energy for next match. It could have gone backfired. Maybe he thought Webb is not around, so he took the gamble.with that kinda fund and squad, city could easily cruise to the title. It's not just about money or spendings. It's all about how well a manager utilized the amount allocated to him, the effort he puts in bringing the team together, how he can improve the depth of his team, how they gonna improve week in week out and also how he handles the ego of his players (between Senior and Junior, World class star and newcomer)It's good to see that EPL finally have a team that understands the importance of using creative MFs, possessions, and utilizing possessions to the max. |

Yes I would agree it peeves me to hear he wants to further beef the mid-field up and also land in another striker, he's already got quite a good selection of existing players but every manager has their own set of players they want to bring in, in this case I guess he probably wants to get rid of some existing ones and bring his in. In another way he's putting it "I need more players to see if they can perform better than the existing ones, then I'd replace them and sell" after all you all know he has the big bank's backing. |

Maybe he thought Webb is not around, so he took the gamble. Guess what I found out just now. MU super agent is being saved for the Newcastle match. Now to recap yesterday's derby IMO we had 2 referees. Remember MU last visit (FA Cup match) , he went after Foy (who initially wasn't going to) to get VK red carded. QUOTE The 25-year-old Belgian faces a four-match ban after receiving a straight red card for a two-footed tackle on Nani - although replays show he played the ball first. City have lodged an official appeal with the FA and will discover by 6pm on Tuesday if they are successful. Rooney, who scored twice in the match and has been accused by Roberto Mancini of getting Kompany sent off in the 12th minute, tweeted: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...t-blame-me.html Yesterday, Rooney was after Marriner all match long ![]() Obviously the scouser, couldn't get his whistle blown, gave the honest ref an earful by calling him a f####ng t@@t! Thats the role model for England fans especially the young uns. Yesterday match we saw more of roonery buffoonery ![]() What a role model for PL fans! |

I thought sharing this post by a MU fan about sugar daddy maybe enlightening;

I do realise that makes my post less important than anybody else's. I say this as a Utd fan, what difference does it make/why is it relevant where the money came from? Manchester, Surrey, the Middle East or the Far East? They got their money from one rich guy in the Middle East - we got ours by selling millions of shirts to poor people in the Far East (and Surrey) - shame on us. To complete above, lest we forget, poor MU fans in the far east are directly or indirectly paying off the huge loan interests. As a result of the debt saddled by the smart Yankee owners. In contrast our middle east sugar daddy is heaping liquid funds and or equity into the club and Manchester. |

Congrats guys on your win against ur neighbour.... u deserve it this season... even did the Double Home & Away.... impressive.... anyway, just 2 games remaining.... dont slips and keep on winning the remaining games.... bcoz i dont care who wins the Premier League "asalkan bukan MANU..." If u manage to win this one, you will surpass ur most difficult mental block.... after that, you will have the winning mentality that Mancini craving for all this while....
Dont worry about the money.... its the same bullshit story when Chelsea 1st under RA.... come on.... be realistic, money cant buy success.... you still need the right player and the right manager to perform ur duty on the pitch.... money dont play football, money dont manage football.... but people!!!! i agree that with the right investment on players and manager, it can lead to success.... but buying success.... totally bull.... just ignore the MANU fan if they keep on bugging over money buy success.... they just dont know how to accept defeat and learn to respect their opponent... for all that matters... u've outwit them twice this season.... home and away.... and even humiliate them at their own backyard (mayb should change to Theatre of Nightmare).... |

Agreed on the above statement.Money cannot literally buy success, but with money, getting theright player (whatever the cost), the right manager and getting all these 11 players (more if including reserves) to work as a team will definately get the Success!! Anyway Congrats to ManC for winning the Manchester derby. SAF will have a terrible nightmare to know that MU lost by goal differences (provided both Manchester teams won their last 2 games) Added on May 2, 2012, 11:09 am QUOTE(anthonywcl @ May 1 2012, 01:58 PM) Yes, Kompany was at the right place at the right time to head in the Goal.Now, it is Mancini 2 SAF 0 This post has been edited by pingpang: May 2 2012, 11:09 AM |
