QUOTE Raise the banner for the champions United fans will be displaying another banner to greet the champions for the final Premier League match of the season against Blackpool on Sunday. The history-makers will walk out onto the pitch with every fan in the East, North and West Stands asked to hold up a plastic sheet that will form 'CHAMP19NS' and '19' mosaics to show our appreciation to the millions watching the game across the world. The effect will last for around a minute and supporters can take the sheet home with them as a memento of yet another fabulous season under Sir Alex Ferguson's stewardship. Stretford End Flags have produced the mosaics and invite fans to get in touch to provide their own designs and ideas for future projects. http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features...d-trafford.aspxabsolutely brilliant.man how would it feel to be there on that day.jd gla teruih dlm stadium~

Cleverley sees United futureQUOTE Tom Cleverley has declared himself ready to play for Manchester United next season after gaining experience over the past few years.
The midfielder has been sent out on loan for the past three years to aid his development and has gradually become accustomed to playing at a higher level.
He spent time with Leicester in League One in 2009 before going to Championship club Watford last term, while he has played in the Premier League for Wigan this season.
Cleverley's focus remains on helping Wigan avoid relegation in his final game for the Latics against Stoke this weekend, but he is also looking further into the future.
The 21-year-old hopes to impress Sir Alex Ferguson sufficiently during pre-season that the United manager will not have to venture into the transfer market for another midfielder.
Hit the ground running
He told Sky Sports News: "Hopefully first of all I can have a good finish to the season on Sunday and a good summer with the Under 21s if selected, and then into next season hopefully I can get a good pre-season under my belt and start featuring for Manchester United."
Asked if he would be part of Ferguson's plans next season, Cleverley replied: "Yes, from what he's been saying.
"I feel fully part of the team there and the squad, and hopefully I can just hit the ground running in pre-season and play my way into the team.
"That is what the plan has been for the last few years. I went out in League One, the Championship and now the Premier League, so it has been building up to next season when hopefully I can start featuring for the side and that will save the club from going out and having to buy another midfielder." http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6936834,00.htmlEvra reveals Park secretQUOTE Patrice Evra thinks he has discovered the secret behind Ji-sung Park's remarkable stamina levels - Korean food.
The Frenchman is close pals with the midfielder, who produced another lung-busting display in the crucial victory against Chelsea last weekend, and is hoping some of his energy rubs off on his team-mates.
In an exclusive interview with MUTV, the United left-back admitted his friend could be a key figure in the Champions League final against Barcelona.
"Ji's unbelievable," said Evra. "I was just laughing when I was watching the game when he was running, because it was unbelievable.
"It must be the Korean food. I try to do the same, sometimes I go to his house and eat the same food. But [seriously] I think Ji is an example to every player. He runs for everyone. Sometimes if I'm tired I know I'll be okay because Ji will run for me.
"I think he's one of the most important players in the team because he doesn't stop running, he can run all day. It's funny because when we reached the final, some fan said, 'Yeah, we're going to win against Barcelona because Ji is going to run all day with Messi.'
"I made some joke with Ji in the dressing room afterwards, saying 'People now think you're a defender'." http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features...ark-secret.aspxThis post has been edited by alien2003: May 17 2011, 08:26 PM

QUOTE(alien2003 @ May 17 2011, 08:19 PM) if Cleverley, Anderson and Gibson can improve their game and their consistency next season, then our midfield suddenly looks quite solid plus Fletcher, Carrick, although we still need another proven (?) midfield to replace Scholes

will be exciting to see if SAF decides to give a chance to the likes of Norwood, Pogba, Petrucci and even problematic Morrison...all of them are midfielders, are they ready to step up? hard to say...but unlikely SAF will do that though
