Is door visor necessary?

I find most of the newer car designs do not have it in stock condition. Also, it tends to generate more wind noise.

Actually what is the benefit of door visor?

The only usage for door visor (that I know) is to open your window slightly (1") while parking under the hot sun to let the hot air out.
But I can't figure out why thief will not tear/break the visor and then start to pick your car door.

Another reason, you open it slightly while driving, to let air in/out, or smoking. Even under heavy rain.
But the front console already have internal/external air switch.

I would like to install NEFD bumper on my Forte car which attached at below.


I saw this NEFD bumper on the road at KL area few days ago. It's so nice.

But the problem is i donno where to get it ya.

I did review on previous reply in this V10 and V11, some of they say can get it in JB around RM950. And some of they say can get it at Singapore around SGD750. But no one can speak where is the exactly place can install this bumper. ><"

Can someone here know where exactly can install this NEFD bumper in KL/Selangor area? Pls advice...

I dunno about you but I like having visors on my car. Sometimes when I have to park under the sun, I open the windows a bit to let the hot air out. Without visors, dirt and rain might fall in. Also helps keep the sun's rays out, better than any tint (the part that is covered by the visor)

I am planning to get the Forte 6 speed 1.6sx soon...Just need some advise....

1) Is the noise of 17inch tyres very noticeable or only slightly ?

2) If got chance, is it worthwhile to change the original 17inch to 16 inch tyres ?

3) Will changing to 16 inch tyres in Forte cause the car to be much less stable, etc ? or good enough ?

this is the answer :
1) Noise is refering to the tyres, not rims...as for low-profile tyres, the noise are quite loud
2) 17'' If u wan have better grip, traction and look, but bumpy and will feel underpower for 1.6 4spd(not sure bt 6spd), while 16'' is for more comfort n not so bumpy ride
3) for 16'' should be alright, might not as stable as 17'', but hey..we're juz normal drivers, not rally or speed cornering machines....

The reason why i use stock rims(17'') is i dun wan mess up with my speedometer readings....yes, by changing size, ur speedometer readings will be more unaccurate than the originals...while originals only 5km/h from GPS reading....next, i love 17'' rims look than 16'' or 15''.....

can i know, changing better plug really can uograde our car performance? more power and save fuel? any good brand to recommend? thanks for sharing

Are you guys aware that the Forte we got here (not sure whether it applies to CKD only or CBU as well) does not have anti-rust coating ?

When i heard about this it makes me blur .....

Looks like we need to put our own anti-rust ... another $$$...

I think so got, coz last two days I received my car. After driving, I smell heavy "brake smell" outside the car. Then i ask the SA, he said it's anti-rust that apply on the car. For the first few days, while driving, the heat of the car will burn up the anti-rust and cause some brake smell alike.
