from water cooling systems reseller that I found in here.

The company replied me with an email and they send it on Tuesday and gave me GDex e-track number.
That day I tried to e-track but the result is no postage record. I think it will appear on the next day(wednesday).

On, wednesday I check it again and still the same.

Thursday, I call the reseller and they told me to call Gdex. So, I call GDex. The operator said they will check my postage first. They said it's in Serdang branch and will send it soon.
Around 4PM someone from Gdex call and they ask if I already receive the item or not. I told them I'm not at my home and there is my friend live there, I told them just give it to them.
6PM I got back to my home and I ask my housemate if they receive my postage or not. They already wait for the postage but no postage arrive at all.
I check the e-track again, now the status change to "no one at home." Immeadiately, I call them(Gdex) again and their answer will send it tomorrow(friday).


Friday, today I plan not to go anywhere just waiting for the postage. I'm just doing my work whole day at my home and I forgot about the postage. I just realize it's already 5PM and no postage at all.
So, check the e-track again. guess what.. the status is "no one at home."
Gosh GDEX!!!

I don't hear any knock, voice or doorbell!! How come they put "NO ONE AT HOME" status on their e-track record!!
The worst, there is no notification left like pos laju did!! Gosh.. they makes me insane!

COME ON GDEX!! MY STUFF IS LESS THAN RM50!!

I already call them and call it many times. In the end they told me to wait until monday. I already lost my trust with GDex now!
In this case, I don't blame the reseller.

I got my items after waiting for a long time. Thank you for reading.

im also having this same problem.. i am at home from morning to night. and my room directly next to my front house door.. plus my window is open all the time. no one from gdex came knock on my door.

For me, their tracking system never works (always showing no record). Tried on 2 different postages. I called the HQ --> they told to call their branch --> branch told to call the agent ---> agent no pick up the call. Waffak.

Sent on Saturday, later Tuesday get the item.

Go to their office and pick it up yourself. I know that this is a hassle but it's the only way to get your item seeing how things are going.
Either the address is probably wrong or GDex has gone lazy.

Seems like they like to put the recepient not at home thingy, happened to me for skynet few weeks ago. However, I just sent a parcel on thursday afternoon about 4:30pm using gdex, arrive at recepient's place friday afternoon

Sometime it's not the company fault, it's also depending on the delivery driver itself.

Happened to me one day with Poslaju before, said I'm not at home while I was at home all along.
Thankfully, I had a friend in Poslaju Shah Alam HQ that has an important role there which helps me identify which driver it was and punished him for not doing his job well.
Apparently, he hasn't been doing his job well for a long time, lots of complain has been filed against him.

Also found a really good UPS delivery guy.
Everytime he delivers my parcels which imported from overseas, he'll call me first to make sure I will be at the written address at a specific time to make sure I don't miss the delivery.
How did I get him to provide extra service to me? Simple, I gave him a little bonus for making a no-fuss delivery everytime.

GDEX is more safe than other courier service
normally for laptop, we will use the GDEX as priority courier service

The thinks I don't like it, why they put the status "no one at home" while I'm at home 24/7.. If they want to send it 1 or 2 days late it's ok for me just don't put fake status on e-track

so far we no have any issue with gdex.
got few experience with gdex, for some really rural area, gdex will call us say it will delay for 2 days because they can't reach the kampung area, and i heard they take taxi to main road, then need walk to quite long distance just can do delivery (according to receiver).

other courier service not able to do so.

Use UPS, they're pretty good.

serdang branch is good. the manager is a chinese and their drivers are very friendly. maybe u drop by their branch and ask for the problem. locate beside south city only.

i have bad experience with gdex services.It happened twice to me , gdex office ask me to collect parcel from their branch at taman kelisa sbrg jaya(my address at bukit minyak only).Second, delivery guy call me to take parcel halfway with reason they duno the road to reach my house ( address is kulim)..congrats gdex.

The time right now is 4:31PM, I got call from the company that sending my item and ask me if I receive the item or not. I answered I haven't receive it.

I check the e-track number and that shit show up again.
I'm really getting sick with GDEX.

Most probably these small courier company have limited resources thats why they use this tactic. This way they can save money by having you to pick up your delivery.

Won something from HydraSkin 2 weeks ago (I think)..
They said, last batch was sent on Friday (20th May, I think)
On Monday, check on e-tracking... No records,
Tuesday, no records...
Wednesday, no records...
Give up checking on website (since the Item is not that important)...

Then on Saturday (when I'm out), someone called me, said he from GDex, asking for my home direction. Give to him, and said to give it to my family... He said OK...

Later on the evening, when I'm back home... No packaged received

Called back the guy. And he said 'tayar motor pancit' (he's ~100m I guess from my house?) ~.~

On Monday, another guy called me, and send me the package instead... ~.~"

Last time I was waiting for GDEX, however I accidentally slept while they were coming and knocked my door, but I didn't answer, then the delivery guy called, I picked up and then I said please wait I will open the door, it didn't even take more than 2 minutes, then I open the door and no people at all.

Then I called back the guy, he said already went somewhere else & will deliver the item the next day, but next day no deliveries, I only got the item 2-3 days later. Wafak is this shit?

So far I have bought so many things online and have delivered by Skynet & Poslaju flawlessly. But sometimes seller only offer GDEX. Gotta cross my finger then.

my first time recieve parcel by GDex was yesterday. at first i wonder how good GDex. it was so scary when the e-tracking not update at all til morning. then i google about GDex and found this topic. so i knew the tracking system not good. for me GDex tracking system is the worst compare to PosLaju, Skynet, Kangaroo, AbxExpress.

But, what i like is the delivery man called me ask where my house just like other deivery services except PosLaju. Lucky my house near main road so it easy for him to find. Around half an hour a truck came. i was like "woah" coz usually other delivery service came by small van. so this one i think my parcel very safe in there. and its true, two box of speakers i bought sent by seller a day before is in very good shape. so i think not bad la the service in term of delivery.

in my opinion, how fast the delivery they can make is depend on thier coverage area. the closer your address to the delivery office, higher chance the delivery can make in 1 day. eh, wait. i think my kangaroo last time slow to the max.

asked XXX company send me a parcel for some parts urgent for my shop via GDEX,
they send on thursday, i expect to receive it on friday or saturday
friday, XXX company send me another parts which is not urgent via GdEX

friday passed, no answer, saturday passed, no answer, sunday holiday, monday passed, no answer, tuesday i receive a call

"ar.....boss ah, your package is here with me can u come to XXX place to meet me? 30KM away from my place , i was like WTF?" He said no people at shop when he deliver, i was like %$%& all my staff and me is invincible man? ok fine, i go to 30KM XXX place to get the parts since urgent,then saw a malay young man, get my stuff...

then after that get the thing edi, rushing back shop to complete customers request. but after that u guys know what happen

Last time, I had a parcel sent through gdex to me, but i wasn't at home in the morn, so i requested to deliver in the afternoon...
the delivery guy said they don't deliver in the afternoon. so end up i have to collect from their office...

GDEX probably ranks as one of the lousiest courier service i have ever used, never had a pleasant experience with them.. Kangaroo also sucks

BOught something using my dad's name, but they cant deliver it to me,

1st impression bout them, the 2nd GDex guy was like putting his feet on the dashboard with lanc look, WTF.

2. My dad called their office numerous times and got no answer, then when someone picks up also need to transfer department la, this la, that la.. and everytime transfer, 5 minutes.. haiyoyo

Frustrated with GDEX too.....

2 months facing 8 times missed pick up.. This time again, I had arranged pick up on Monday, upon arranged, the call centre will normally ask what time our office close and had informed them our office will be close at 5.30pm. By 5pm call them to re-confirm whether the driver will reach b4 5.30pm, after checked and told me that driver can only reach at 7.30pm... Whats the stupid answer given, then what for they ask for our office closing time. Then fine, since i got thing to do, so i stay in office till 7.30pm but the driver failed to come too !!

Next day, I email to their office to complaint again and make sure they pick up my parcel on the same day before 5pm and had informed them the parcel is urgent, must be collect by the same day, they replied me noted and will arrange. Again, waited till 5pm and still no one come, I replied email to the person who sent me email on the morning, she called me back after half and hr, said the driver lorry break down at 4pm, so cant reach my office at 5pm, only can reach by 6pm.. If really lorry break down and cant make it by the time requested, they shod call and inform me but there is none.. Then i continue wait till 6.30pm still no one come, I call to the call centre and checked what happen. After they checked and call me back said the driver only can reach in another half and hr.. I really dunno what can I say anymore.. Nvm, again I waited till 7.30pm, driver still do not show up. I called to call centre again, but their side answering : Sorry, our office hours operation hours will be 8.30am till 7pm. What the hell !!

If they cant make it, juz let us kno instead of we waitied for few hours in the office for nothing !! Really frustrated on this !!! Sent in several complaints, but service is getting worst and worst !!

Complaining is useless now.. it's happen again.. and again it's sent from A.P.E.S, i've told them to use another courier..
it's been 3 days now.. I haven't receive my package..

Tell me bout it! Mum ordered stuff from Lazada & Zalora. These two sites use GDEX.

Anyway, GDEX people call me ask if anyone home. I said I'm in office, dunno if anyone home. You just go and deliver.

GDEX service quality depends on branches and people....

example,at Georgetown is nice but the one at Butterworth so so only,but then the delivery guy stationed there and often deliver to my house is quite nice....

I always put my delivery/shipping address to my office - for every online purchase I made. And I'm pretty sure all courier company know that every address that has SDN. BHD at the end of the company's name is indeed a COMPANY/OFFICE.
By right, they should aware that office hour starts at 8am (the earliest) and ends at 5.30 (the latest). From the e-tracking system, it says that they sent the parcel to the office at 00:00. Which means at 12 am in the MORNING! hantu je la ada kat ofice tu.
Walhal, dah keluar hantar barang dari pukul 9 am lebih from Serdang Branch, macam la jauh sgt Serdang and Cyberjaya.Takkan la GDex ada satu je lori penghantar tu ye dak? hmm

Pos Laju is still the King, i feel safe using the courier..

I oso prefer poslaju....Gdex a lot excuses la...stil cn say x sempat hantar semalam....thn service ended at 6.50pm....da next day oni deliver again...waited til noon

It's simple really.
GDex offers the cheapest price for heavy items.

Thus the reason why lots of resellers prefer GDex.
And most of the resellers doesn't care about their customers, their policy is "We already deliver the item, the rest is up to GDex".

And this is the reason why I never use other couriers except Poslaju for Domestic & UPS for International.
Their prices may be high, but at least they don't screw up as much as GDex.

Unbelievable GDEX service still so sucks after all these years.... I bought photobook and they are using GDEx service, the first time I was using my friend's home address cause her mum is at home everyday and I have to work. End up there is nobody send the item, and the etracking shown No One at Home. To not to bring trouble to friend's mum, so, I go to their office to pick up.

This time, i purchase again. and the same thing happen!!!! First day, I reached home from outside 11++am, the agent said I am not at home so I called the office ask for resend - the lady with a very unfriendly tone said Hantar Besok La, I asked around what time, she said Sama Masa hari ini la. OK. According to her suppose the item would be delivered before 11am. So the next day I've been waiting from 8am until 7pm with Door & Windows wide open, nobody come, then I check the etracking - WTH it said No One at Home!!!

I am pretty sure this is how they operate and force customers have to go to collect at their office. Stupid useless service that I ever see. I don't mind they deliver my item slow, but please don't give me fake info and fake the eTracking Status!!!!!

That is what happened to me !! I was at home the whole day on Saturday it shows on deliver and the next Hour no one at home
I called the Branch manager on his HP and he says sorry half day

I also facing a same problem today,their staff didnt delivery my stuff,when i track it online it mention that unable to locate,so i called my nearest branch,their staff mention that no one at home,and no answer when called,even my phone is not ringing,so i need take my item at branch..

I guess different branch has different set of workers?
I have quite pleasant experience with my local GDEX here. Last month I have a package with them and the delivery man called me up before dropping by to make sure I'm at home. He's using the branch's phone number.

Quick question, if someone else took the note that GDEX left when nobody is at home, can they collect the parcel at GDEX?

Problem is the driver said he will leave a note as I told him nobody was home, then when I got home I couldn't find any note on my gate or letter box. I called him back and he said confirmed he left a note, he said probably it was blown away (or maybe I was thinking someone else took it).

I don't have the tracking number with me and I will need to call up the seller/company on Thursday morning to get the tracking number. Now I'm kinda worried.

PosLaju will always be the best in terms of accuracy....

GDex on the other hand is more like a lucky unlucky thing...
If your lucky you'll be able to receive you package 1 day after postage..
But if your unlucky GDex would most likely give you a shitty excuse for not being able to do their job properly...

Received my Lazada order today from GDex, I'm happy with it, workers are friendly. I was slightly worried from reading everyone's comments. I hope they keep up their good work.

Have anyone bring their complaint with Tribunal Pengguna?

I cannot understand why some merchants still insist to use gdex in year 2014, it is the crappiest courier(or whether it should be categorized as a "courier company") I have ever dealt with.
On their tracking system, it shows that the courier guy claimed that he tried to deliver multiple times. But I have never received any phone call or slip from them. Calls to their HQ and their branch office is useless, as they can only see the same screen like what the customers can see. They would promise to call you back but it is all bullsh*t, as I watched with my own eyes right in front of their staff how they "note down" the phone number/tracking number over the phone without even writing/typing it anywhere. At the end, without any confirmation of whether my package is with the delivery guy or their warehouse, I have to drive nearly 30km(one way) to their branch to force them to dig my parcel out from their "dumpsite".

Take package at Gdex office better.. Say no to deliver to house... unless it easy to locate

I've also seen my shipping status as "No one at home" when my family was in all day.

Tried calling their General Hotline and Customer Service throughout the day and no one anwers the phone! Even tried the branch at Damansara Perdana to no avail.

I've bought multiple stuff from Lazada which was delivered by GDex but this is the most frustrating experience so far.

My experience with Gdex was different from you guys. Once I bought a PC tablet online. The delivery guy did call me regarding my parcel the next day. I am surprised me to see how fast their service was. I received my parcel safely, wrap with safety bubble under Gdex plastic cover. Kudos to them...

I think it all depends on your location. I have no problem with my area as well.

2. they just left the parcel between the grille and wooden door. anyone could have taken it.

Gdex kelantan area bachok suck. Tracking system never work, I have bad xperience with them. Come on gdex hire more reputable despatch guy. I remember last time they took almost 2 week for parcel.

Just want to share GDEX experience happen to me last week (15 Dec 15).

Seller ship the item and give me tracking number. By using "trackback.my" I able to track my parcel without need me to check on GDEX website plus they have email notification if there is any update.

At 14.42 I received email update from trackback saying new status for my parcel. "No One At Home". I call my mom, she said that whole day she's at home. I assume maybe she didn't hear. No one call my mobile phone either. Nevermind. The delivery guy left a note. My mom sent me a picture of the note.

There is a phone number and address stated at the note. GDEX Medan Batu Cave. I call the number. 5-6 times until one lady pick-up my call.
Her: "Hello, GDEX Medan Batu Cave bla bla bla"
Me: "Hi I just want to ask, on the note saying there is second attempt delivery, do they gonna sent it tomorrow?"
Her: "How should I know, I'm at the office"
Me: "Oh than....*she drop the call*"

What a rude lady. Nevermind too. Maybe she had a bad day.

Next day, I waiting with my door open for the parcel. Boomm. Around 16:00, new notification from trackback. "No One At Home". WTF, I was there whole day, playing video game with door open just in case I didn't heard they calling. None. Freaking none. No miscall or anything.

I immediately calling GDEX Medan Batu Cave. Same lady answer my call after several tries. I'm saying that I was there whole day waiting for my parcel, why they said no one home. She with rude voice reply that they already do their job and saying that I can collect the parcel at their office, she drop the call again even before I said anything. Again, rude service.

Then, I go to their office to collect that parcel. I wait until around 18:00 because my parcel still in their van going somewhere else (what they told me).

If I have a choice, I will never used this courier. Bad service plus rude staff really makes me saying big NO to them.

so i ordered last tuesday until now, nothing updated on their website. tried to call their number today and no one pick up. Is 28th public holiday in KL?

Hi can anyone tell me gdex rate? i want to post parcel very light i went to their website key in item 0.1kg and it cost RM 27.80 ????? is it really this expensive with gdex

Waited whole day today at home, no lorry/van/motor came. All i get is this bullshit.
As expected from Gdex/Skynet, both are nono for me.

agree! these guys don't call at all to check if you're at home. I should've told them to leave the parcel at the guardhouse. the helpdesk sounds arrogant. damn these guys.

What happen to "unable to locate" status? When i use poslaju to deliver to the address, the poslaju sampai, but not with gdex? And usually will they try to send the item back again or in the branch already?

Hopefully my parcel will arrive soon..sigh

2016 here, they still didn't bother to knock or call me when they came but instead just leave quietly and left a note. there was fucking 4 people at home m8, someone bound to hear if they call out or even press the damn bell.

bad service... seller cannot promise 1 day delivery if use GDEX.

I once got my item on saturday but that one after they wrote a fake status on their web and I called them right away to deliver my item.
But no guarantee. I hope u got ur item now.

This actually happened to me. I didn't receive the parcel since 18 September until now. even I had several times contacted Gdex courier service (kampar branch), but they don't provide the action that can satisfy the customer. on the first day they said parcels could not be dispatched out to cameron highlands because there is no driver, then the next day they said the parcel can't be checked because the system is in error and will be informed later, then the next day I called back Gdex kampar branch, they said the system has been able to check the parcel but the parcel stored in the warehouse and must check back. and at the end I decided not to contact them anymore. it's just waste of my time. after that I track the consignment number on the site gdex. What I find ?? I was very surprised when found that the delivery status changed to "Non Service Area (NSA)" previously listed status "Outbound from hub to Kampar Branch" for two weeks. What the f*ck?! It's a joke?! I saw they were sent parcels to other customers, even in the same week and in the same region as my address. Damn it, the worst courier service I have ever experienced.

Is it necessary to inform Gdex if I want to do a self pick up or should I just go to their branch to collect it myself?
I've been trying to call the branch but no one answer. Gdex did try to send the parcel but they didn't call me when they arrive and the status online showed 'access not allowed'

today, had horrible experience with GDex...again! No bell, no calling whatsoever, i am at home. throw a Sorry card into my house compound and went off! got so mad, called their office and the fella can only tell me the driver not picking up his call.
i wonder if it's GDex standard operating procedure to immediately issue Sorry card when looks like no one at home or when house door is closed. Guess by doing this way, they can go many destinations and save time and in the end, ask customer to go collect from their office.

normally they'll call you the next day if the delivery is unsuccessful. they'd give you the option to collect yourself (which seems to be encouraged by them!) or wait another day or two before re-deliver again! really hate them
