What a great game by Italy which win by 2-0...two great goals from Pirlo and I___(something I i think...cannot remember
Got many chances but always hit the gol post and captured by the keeper...Hope Italy wins this World Cup Just remembered...it's Iaquinta who makes the 2nd goal at the 83rd minutes This post has been edited by Firdaus92: Jun 13 2006, 06:20 AM |

Italy played really well last night! This 'new' Italy is no longer a defensive minded team. They are now more dynamic and willing to attack. Hope Italy can go far! Forza Azzurri!!

Yeah , he could have scored last night if they passed to him instead to taking the shot on 2 occassions.

Toni was unlucky last nite. but he did play well especially in 1-1 situation. both Nesta and Cannavaro were excellent as they crucially blocked/spoilt some of the moves made by the Ghanaians. the Italians will only get better and that's what i'm hoping to see.

Hmmm...the new Italy is really nice to watch, not the typical defensive team that we're used to seeing. Lippi really changed the whole team's style of play, and yet still retained the top defensive qualities of the Italians. Cannavaro and Nesta are freaking brick walls, Ghana could only muster a few long range shots thanks to them. Even the stand-in left back Grosso did very well.
p/s: Camoranesi looks very gay with his pony tail la |

im quite worried when i see lippi field 3 center midfield in that match
cos that would be too center-oriented attacking team,no width at all im worried ghana will park everybody in the center n block all the passes but im glad to see perotta n pirlo working tirelessly, they were everywhere..not just on the center anyway i hope de rossi will much more wise with his gameplay sometimes his defending action really throbbing my heart hope he will be more cautious,if not it will risking the team n himself (yellow/red card) the performances still not the best like we've seen in the past few months i hope the team will just get better, especially on the flanks now zambrotta is injury free..... lets bring back the full-force fullbacks of italy !! my rant about the player..... nice haircut by totti, the straighten long hair of camo really doesnt suit him buffon jersey in this tournament is the worst gk jersey italy ever had bring back the silver color jersey damnit !! it was a good performances indeed.... i believe we should have lead 2-0 even before the half time now lets try USA.... maybe there will be a match gathering for this match organized by milanmalaysia n juvefc malaysia i will keep u guys updated Forza Italia !! |

totti should have cut this hairstyle a long time ago, he looks damn good.
zambrotta and gattuso's return will strengthen the team more. this might be italy's year. |

DP hairdo is worst to me
the game is good, but for me the defenders play too deep compared to ghana; and DP insertion does not meant anything when ghana controlled the mid and their territory really well. |

LOL , i want to see more of DP and Inzaghi , although the current in game players are excellent , especially defenders led by Nesta/ Cannavaro
Toni shouldve get himself a goal in the upcoming match, he plays excellently, just dont have the right chance |

Group E is shaping up to be the most potentially explosive so far... can't wait for when the Azzurri meet the Czechs!
Group C comes close but no way Oranjes and Argentines can match the coolness to be found here. |
