oh man, Italy is the second country i'll support after england. Wished I could come for some gathering but have exams.... darn.... Maldini 8 years ago was my first love in this sport, too bad can't see him play for Italy anymore....

Italy are indeed a strong team. All these year, Italy had good players in the squad but no luck of winning any major tournaments. Hope that this Italy team has lady luck along their side this time.

Poor game from Italy, couldn't capitalize on the 1 man advantage...

didn't watch the game, sadly. they played defensive after the first goal again? they shouldn't have play this kind of silly games anymore, dunwan to see them kick out of the wc by smaller/weaker teams.

Lady luck was not at the Italy team. They should have crushed USA when USA had 2 men send off. Hope they will win against the Czech.

not necessary..if a team play with less men, they will defend heavily...somemore usa already know ghana has beaten czech, means if they can draw the match means they could still qualify in the final match...

it was a disappointing result

the 2 major incidents that was occurred in a space of few minutes really disrupt our gameplay
it was stupid move by both zaccardo n de rossi
i already warn about de rossi in previous post n now he cant escape no more
zaccardo screwed up at the crucial moment,we all know he isnt solid
with his latest blunder,i dont think we will see him to be the starter ever again in this wc
and the referee...wat can i say more....there are at least 4 wrong calls for the offside
another few bad decision against us and totti yellow card shouldnt be given

i believe the decision to subs totti is to gave pirlo a more free-role position
n gattuso to do all the defensive works....help by perrotta
lippi certainly not convince to let toni or gila play as lone striker
i dont think it will work well too given that the physical approach by usa team
i believe toni/gila will suffer alone upfront

n after they went down to 9 player,lippi try to reignite the trident by introducing alex
but it didnt worked well,cos we know the usa already stay deep at their half
simple becos they want a draw in this game

now a must win game against the czech !!
