Italy played really well last night! This 'new' Italy is no longer a defensive minded team. They are now more dynamic and willing to attack. Hope Italy can go far! Forza Azzurri!!

Yeah , he could have scored last night if they passed to him instead to taking the shot on 2 occassions.

QUOTE(rEDs @ Jun 27 2006, 01:07 AM) Told ya....Materrazi was a fluke. He is NATURALY terrible. Even when he is not around also can have solid defense..... Actually hes a LaLiga fan!Its 10 vs 11 and you say not great? Italian deserve it VERY WELL dude. Its the tactics you needed. Play with arts and brain.Respect Lippi. You sure never watch serie A alot...must be EPL wannabe. I dont give a damn aussie play, too much byers by ref already with harsh tackle. In the end...its all about winning. Anyway, im so glad that the Azzurri made pass Australia!! |

QUOTE(state of abyssmal @ Jun 27 2006, 02:43 AM) cannavaro really did well in the game. and lucky buffon was there. Cannavaro is the most consistent player on the Italian team! Its so fortunate to have him. No we must hope that Nesta is fit for the next match.aussie keep attacking but no luck on their side. |

Yeah, the ref made a number of wrong decisions and a draw would have been a fair and favourable result to both teams. I guess one bad call could change the nature of the game completely.
The Scots must be feeling extremely dejected after giving a great performance and they probably don't deserve to lose. Anyhow, I'm not complaining as the Azzurri are through! Now to wait on the result of Israel and Russia.. This post has been edited by Nostalgia: Nov 18 2007, 03:11 AM |
