actually the 8 hours rule applies to old type of batteries only, new batteries and phones are mostly designed to have overcharge protection...

I'm flashing to stock JVH now
and in order to get deodexed JVH i should use ramad's CWM package right?
but i cant help to notice that there's the odin package.

ok there's the question.
1. Can i flash ramad's deodexed JVH directly on a froyo rom with CWM?
2. By using the odin package, does it mean that i can flash the odin files directly on a froyo firmware?
3. So the only way to get to deodexed JVH is by flashing stock JVH first then flashing ramad's?

Someone please guide me pls

im using no 3 method ... dunno bout no 1 & 2

The CWM package doesn't have bootloaders while the Odin package has it.

And the CWM package is the deodexed ones, while the Odin package is the fully stock ROM.

Hence you:
1. Flash the Odin ROM
2. Flash a CWM-enabled kernel (CF-Root comes to mind)
3. Flash the CWM deodexed ROM.

i flashed to stock then deodexed then only start theme-ing... but its an awfully long process

hehe better do with which procedure ur familiar with
for customization i just add tw4 and 5 lockscreen only
so far happy with it

true... haha i'm really outdated... did some reading yet i cant figure out whats with the bootloaders, why some with and some without...

wow sgs2 lockscreen is nice

if you want to flash deodexed gingerbread rom..u must first flash stock GB rom with bootloader...if not you'll get corrupted screen display on boot

Wht is the advantage of deodexed rom? Is it u cant add theme with odex rom? Wht themes can u add to deodex rom tht u cant add to odex rom? Besides themes, is there anything else u cant do wth odex tht u can only do wth deodexed rom. I m still wondering which one to flash.

Option 1: Charge your phone again, then try again to get into Download mode.....keep trying the 3 button combo...

I had a bad experience with EZbase 3.0 too......odin failed!!! semi-bricked too.....but luckily managed to get back to download mode.

But EZBase 2.0 is very good...i used it many times while flashing to MIUI last time...
