QUOTE(klwong99 @ May 11 2011, 08:47 PM) Simple question here for who had tried or using Froyo and Gingerbread ROM, which rom do you think faster or smoother? i used Froyo custom rom and GB custom rom b4I had try both, i still perfer Froyo custom ROM, Juwe 1.9. Juwe 4.2 was drain more battery compare with 1.9. It's can't even match the speed on 1.9. Strange? Evern MIUI ROM can't even slove the battery drain issue till to this stage. I prefer froyo since its more stable, GB rom is yet to be stable yet... battery drain is one of the issues but i experienced quite a few problems with apps to seems like its incompatible therefore i went back to froyo doc's rom... MIUI rom is really interesting, a whole new experience of android with speed too, but battery drain kills me... heard its a lot more refined nowadays not sure yet... |

QUOTE(ken2291 @ May 11 2011, 11:19 PM) battery drain should be due to improper flashing, try a clean flash. then u shld kno hw to get rid of "software update" too right? yup i did all the fixes and so on, battery drain is fine but still froyo batt is better in my view ^^Added on May 11, 2011, 11:20 pm care to share wad apps doesn't run smoothly on Gingerbread?? Added on May 11, 2011, 11:21 pm Gingerbread deodexed rom?? y don u flash to Voodoo kernel then convert? weirdly some gameloft game doesnt work well with GB... some doesnt finish downloading the game files and it works in froyo... i'm not sure y |

QUOTE(s30ckf @ May 14 2011, 10:29 PM) Now aday handphone new battery still need to charge so long ?? Not charge until the battery full then stopped? Have to charge 8 hours even through the battery indicated it oreli FULLY charge ?? actually the 8 hours rule applies to old type of batteries only, new batteries and phones are mostly designed to have overcharge protection...Added on May 14, 2011, 11:06 pmcan someone explain something to me? I'm flashing to stock JVH now and in order to get deodexed JVH i should use ramad's CWM package right? but i cant help to notice that there's the odin package. ok there's the question. 1. Can i flash ramad's deodexed JVH directly on a froyo rom with CWM? 2. By using the odin package, does it mean that i can flash the odin files directly on a froyo firmware? 3. So the only way to get to deodexed JVH is by flashing stock JVH first then flashing ramad's? Someone please guide me pls This post has been edited by CrossX: May 14 2011, 11:06 PM |

Ok there's something seriously wrong with my SGS...
Flashed to JVH 2 days ago, was ok not much problem only slight choppy since i got weather widget, clock widget, and so on... The main annoyance is this... I LOCKED my phone and put into my pocket which is empty by the way so no way of unlocking it unless i bring it out and unlock it myself, the problem is when i look at the SMS...there's some weird msges saved as draft on MULTIPLE of my conversation (dont think the phone so smart knows how to spam a bit then go out and spam another conversation of mine right). Another thing is, PARTS of my touchscreen including the touch sensitive buttons (menu and back) malfunctions randomly... I dont know wats wrong and i havent done anything to it yet... My configurations now is as below Ramad's deodexed JVH rooted with CF-root with ext4 enabled TW4, with SGS2 lockscreen applied as well. Can someone pls help me with this issue |

Samsung Malaysia where got GB yet. but what kind of virus... i heard of android viruses but dont think there's any that does that lor... really irritating...Sounds like a virus to me, especially the sms part... Now, i'm thinking of going to MIUI or flash it to a custom ROM since the one i'm using is stock |
