flashed my phone with (XXJVH) 3 files, PDA, PHONE, CSC with repartition unticked and no pit. however, got the following errror when trying to reboot my phone.

E:Can't mount /dev/block/st110
(Invalid argument)
E:copy_dbdata_media:Can't mount DBDATA:

your storage not prepared yet, please use UI me
nu for format and reboot actions.
copy default media content failed.

So that's what it's saying when i flash then it reboots by odin.
If i select "reboot system now" it will reboot but till the "S" and then it go's black....

However, after wipe data/factory reset it's able to boot. What causes this and do I have to reflash again?

to be honest, i also experiencing the same problem as i flashed new rom...

yes..i think it is because of the pit mapping..

someone with superior technical knowledge should be able to answer that..

so far i don't encounter any problem...

If you haven't flashed your bootloaders yet to 2.3.3 (you were from Froyo), then you should flash this:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1011901

then flash this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=948790

Both using Odin.

Edit:
When flashing bootloaders, be sure to tick "Update Bootloaders" in Odin, but be careful, any ter-yank your cable or suddenly PC no power or suddenly flashing failed then you have a bricked phone already.

Then only flash the 2nd link. You can flash the CWM version since you already have CF-Root. Then reflash your CF-root after flashing the deodexed ROM.
