you have a proton savvy as well bro? i heard u did a lot of spirited driving with it, i wanted some good tires on my savvy, but the stock 175 50 15 size is just too limited, always stuck with NCT5.
any recommendations? if can get 195 width already good enough, wanted to put Mich PS3.. must change rims ?
*
theres silverstone evol8 and also dunlop d01 and of course the uber sucky nct5....choosing between the 3, evol8

if not mistaken theres 1 or 2 more....but cant remember

theres also 165/50/15 tires u can try.. lower profile... Hankook V8RS, Falken Azenis ST115

choosing between all of them...ST115 wub.gif

Archiles ATR, after around 10k kms - 12k kms, ul experience a very high tire performance drop... Even if physically ul look at the tires, n there is still about 50-60% tyre thread left, but the feel/grip is mostly gone..

Hi guys, am going to change tire soon, so would like to get some suggestion biggrin.gif
Driving swift 1.5, not a slow drive but not wangan-style driver, love to attack corner, damn concern on wet grip, noise will be my last concern.

Budget: Max RM400 per piece

Currently using Continental CPC2 195/50/R16, what I like to comment about this tire is..
1. Cheap and cheerful
2. For the price you paid, it is perform very well
3. Wear is fast (Bought march 2011, now left 10%++)

So far I have few in my minds..

195/50/R16
1. Continental MC5, RM300 per piece, tauke said better than CPC2 in overall(Grip, silica compound, less noise, durability), sounds so promising
2. Kumho KU31, price not sure, seems to be a value-for-money tire except it is noisy and poor on wet
3. Toyo T1-R, price unknown, grippy tire as written on review
Due to lack of choices for above size, I did consider the following...

205/50/R16
1. GoodYear Directional 5, price unknown, had reviewed by TOM from ZTH using his Cooper S, I guess this one is more than enough for my ride tongue.gif
2. Michellin PS3, price unknown, everyone know this tire well, but for me michellin tire kinda overpriced for me sad.gif

There are few other choices but not sure if size is available...
1. Hankook V12 Evo
2. Federal 595RS

I hope you guys can give me some comments on my options and suggest me something(Tak nak Achilles or china brand tire pls tongue.gif )

THANKS! smile.gif

S1 Evo smallest available is 17 inch

Being used it before, quite okay, but noisy a lil bit

Now using Assy 2, braking distance is better than S1 EVO thumbup.gif

Calling VR2Turbo to comment laugh.gif

oh btway i thought hankook has distribute new tread, S1 Evo 2 ? Any comment on this?

hi all..
my tires are already 2.5 yrs old, surveying for new set of wheels. spec now 195/65/15 kia forte. looking at :

same size 195/65/15 - XM2

or upgrade to 205/55/16 - N8000

requirements : long lasting/quiet/comfort > FC > dry/wet grip..speed < 140kmh only..

i see many recommends C Drive 2 for average performance but soft compound will not last..

how about conti / goodyear..any advice from sifus..
