Just changed Yokohama Advan DB V551 from our member nestum. Extreme comfortable tyre.. Quiet on low and high speed or bumby road.. Soft when passing by bumb and uneven road..
Recommended to those who need comfort and quiet tyre if u have the budget.. Size available are 15" and above only..

is it ok to move from vellfire stock size 235/50R18 to 235/55R18 ? it is still within the safety range right ?
the increase in aspect ratio means taller tires, more comfort, less noise, worse handling , more body roll ?

If wanna comfort and go for 235/55R18, from 50mm really not feels is comfortable for big MPV and full Load.

QUOTE(GilaLaksa @ May 5 2013, 07:42 PM) Hi guys, car newb here. I wanna ask about how long does a set of tyres usually last? For safety issue an change in 3 years a once. Either 50~60k KMs. Due to rubber wear & tear and getting hard & won't be eating on road surface. Some experience maybe adsive change on 3 years.

Oops really is poor for noise control from Eagle F1 D5? But for efficientgrip & fuel max also quiet tyre.

QUOTE(cryominds @ May 7 2013, 09:53 AM) ok sifu... thanks for the info... any recommendation?? for the new one?? not 2nd hand la... Actually 16 inch in m'sia really not too common size. If compare to normal 15 inch is much expansive and 17 inch is slightly near to 17", so most of ppls would go 15 or either 17" rims. Maybe you can try with Goodyear NCT5, fuel max, duraplus.
