Anyway, just found out there's a better alternative to Gallery & Photo Browser 3D.
It's called QuickPic.

download is like 500MB leh... i gave up coz my line not fast enuff. but ya, review says its good. i might try again when i go to fren's place with unifi...

Picasso is good. At least he kept some of the acer defaults eg folders of multimediasocial etc. Prime 1.4 is true Asus transformer ROM though last release he has replace Asus wording with acer

Will the new stock of A500s might have the 3.1 update after July?

As of yesterday, the 3.1 Honeycomb unofficial rom was change to be based on Acer's official leaked rom. Previously the rom cooks were just porting over Asus Transformer rom to the Iconia. Prime rom was a pure Asus rom while Virtous was a combo of Acer 3.01 and Asus HC 3.1.

Another great cook has just join in with his rom - richardtrip ; he has now offered his version of HC 3.1 based on Acer official rom ( leaked ). My last experience with richardtrip was uysing his overclock kernels for the galaxy tab

If Acer says first week July, reasonably the new units carrying this rom will be in probably after mid July. Of course if you want to buy in July, ask first. If not, the shop will sure give you the older stocks first

Just bought a unit yesterday, for my mom. Taking it for a test drive first before handover. Damn, these things are hard to find in KL! Took me trips to numerous shops/malls before I can get my hands on one.

Seems like mine has all the updates installed out of the box. At the rate these babies are selling, I think high chance you'll get 3.1 out of the box when you buy it in July.

After more than a month available only today i see the first advertistment of it in the Star today

I not always read newspaper as I read electronic news more....
but I saw twice the advertise at Sim Chew newspaper

even court now carry this iconia tablet at RM1599

just sharing an observation... means nothing much...

in today's the star...

Asus TF got small ad at main section (Nation).
Acer Iconia got big advertisement at business section.

Just join the Iconia family... currently still happy and satisfied...
