I noticed that the current batches don't have tweeters on the side mirrors. I hope this doesn't affect the performance of the sound system.
Also, I read somewhere that the current batches don't have the black protective layer in the wheel arches.
Is Proton cutting back on the specs of the Inspira ?

how does the proctective layer looked like?? any pic of it? abt the tweeter, u can browse thru this topic, but i dont know which page, that say something abt the difference between earlier n later batch...

i belum ada sample yet, so if you come on weekends no problem, reason being weekdays is you dont have to wait so long

new batch of cloth came d, but haven tested it yet

by the way.... the protective layer no need to discuss... coz its there... just your eyes cant see.. so closed this protective layer topic lo... coz we have discussed it and proof it... tweeter ah? sure dun have lo... wire still have.. but at half cut shop to get the housing... so looks original... if u dun like original...u can use the cover to drill a hole for your new tweeter... just like this photo below...

The black layer is sort of rubberish feel. It's in most cars inside the wheel arches. It's mainly to prevent stone chips to the paintwork on the inside of the wheel arch.
Sorry I don't have a picture of it.

Again, this has been said more than a million times (ok, a bit over but still.... )...

There were NEVER any tweeter in any Inspira, the earlier batch have a tweeter mesh holes and a little housing to fit a tweeter, and allow the sound to pass thru. Later batch DONT have the mesh, so you cant install a tweeter and need other solutions for tweeters (like pay extra for housing)...

Most newer cars dont have the black coating anymore, but someone has said that his/her car still has it.... anyway, newer cars have plenty of stuff that's already localize... like steering wrap material, tweeter mesh, radiator hoses, black coating.... cant recall more, brain not working now...

that one ah..can even buy in jusco, it is rubberised coat, pretty useless actually, it is just rm 30 per can

tweeters, i wouldnt say affect because there is just only the wire only to start with(stock no tweeter), but if add tweeter, there is a difference.

Just confirmed, chasis no 7073, since i'm not familiar with a sales person just now, only managed to get this 2 picture, front (side) & rear (side) window glass. most of the other parts i notice similar to the first batch with Mitsu logo except the rear windscreen.
