QUOTE(samwongjyhhorng @ May 8 2011, 11:57 AM) transplant evo 3 engine ady..but is stock evo 3 engine..onli can hit 0-100 with 6 sec..so inspira 2.0 impossible to done with 6 sec lo..hehe..but i think sure can hit within 9-10sec..good ady for stock. Did u paddle shift to keep the engine RPM to the MIVEC zone (shift only at redline), or u took the lazy driver way of just flooring the pedal and let CVT do what it does best (maximum efficiency for FC)??? |

QUOTE(inspilancera @ May 9 2011, 10:55 PM) Installation will leave any holes? I saw some advertised no holes drilled installing the EVO X spoiler. And how will they secure the spoiler that is subjected to high speed wind force on it?? You trust a supplier that will only use double side tape to hold that spoiler??How much you selling? Look under your boot cover, there are 3 holes there, ready to be drilled for LGT or EVO spoiler, and those holes are outside the boot rubber, so any water that does seep thru will run down that rain channel and out the back.... Also, pls check that the spoilers have soft foam pads at the bottom to prevent scratches and water from entering the holes... Cheap dont necessarily means good.... moreover if it spoils your boot cover, compare the cost of changing that versus the spoiler... This post has been edited by Poadster: May 9 2011, 11:16 PM |

QUOTE(opera33 @ May 11 2011, 12:27 AM) I got my 1st service at Mesra SC...those SC in petronas... no ECU reader/reset, but for oil change...should not be a problem... I can see how their service my car, chit chat with them as well...since it is small...clocking to 6k soon...suppose to get my service done....but will wait for 10k service Are those authorised SC listed by Proton?? U do know that you MUST do the oil change at those authorised SC at the indicated period/milage, so that you can continue to have warranty on your car, right...??? Added on May 12, 2011, 12:12 am QUOTE(SothysSaleShop @ May 11 2011, 04:18 PM) but some abang dont like to see adik on the road, even don't want to give way with indicator lights given...abang suka buli adik it seems...or when abang see adik coming closer, abang will tekan minyak to run away quickly, my parents teach me big should let the small have some advantages but seems like it's not very applicable to this pair of abang and adik...sigh... Excuse me....!!!That one is elder COUSIN, not abang... your parents are NOT his parents, you all simply share the DNA inherited by your Grampa in Japan.... At the very least, the father is the same and yet the mother is diff.... aka.... errr... err.... adik tiri... This post has been edited by Poadster: May 12 2011, 12:12 AM |

QUOTE(XCInspire @ May 13 2011, 03:09 PM) His mech (donno if its authorised SC) over turned on the screw and it stripped of the thread, so cant move up or down anymore...For that small yellowish plastic screw, he got a RM1700++ part replaced and paid for by Proton.... No wonder Proton is not doing that well.... |

QUOTE(-YS- @ May 15 2011, 01:28 PM) hey guys, my registered address is at my hometown but i am in kl now, anyone mind to tell what's the recall issue about? my chassis no. is 3866, so is it likely to be affected According to PIOC and other ppl within Proton, some Inspira have slight steering veering problem. When you drive a straight road and your steering is held straight, some Inspiras will veer slightly to the left or right... and this is not due to the road nor your alignment (if alignment problem, your car only veer in one direction). This is due to the power steering fluid hose. The initial batch (below 2K, but only proton knows) uses very much Lancer japan parts, including small parts like hoses too. The later batches (Feb - April), Proton uses local supplier to fill those parts, and yes, the hoses in those batches are from local suppliers. Hence the issue... Wait for Proton to contact you via your mailing address... and drive slow if your car does veer to the sides... !!! |

Anti rust is at the bottom, the missing black thingy is supposed to be the rubberized undercoat, to protect the bottom part from stone chips.... important? nice to have but is it another proton cost cutting measure? probably... and yes, there is such a thing as transparent anti rust liquids and coats... try Google...
Mitsu SC accepting Proton cars??? If so does Honda SC accepts Toyota cars coz they are Japanese brand, Merc SC accepting BMW coz they are German makes...??? Duh..... Inspira have LOTUS HANDLING....?? Say the non Inspira owner and troll here, and you trust all his statements.... its painfully obvious that he dont even have Google skills, and yet.... Stop feeding the trolls here.... they are not worth your time... This post has been edited by Poadster: May 15 2011, 11:53 PM |
