On the HU, there are a row of buttons with numbers (1,2,3...), press the 1 and hold, then press 2 to increase the hour, 3 to increase the minute, 4 to reset the second to 0....

There are a row of damn super small wordings to indicate the dual functions of the clock....

If you prefer RADIO, then first budget a proper HU and / or an antenna booster, the existing HU have damn sucky reception that fades your radio audio, and its very very bad....

So you WILL have to look into audio accessories....

That's because you stop posting poisons here ma....

The actual speakers are some cheapo paper cone speakers with chop "Made in Malaysia" at the back... unbranded and damn similar to those RM10 paper cone speakers you can find in pasar road...

I forgot to take pics when I dumped all my speakers....

Its not NO GOOD, but the radio reception sucks.... if u find it ok, then either they have fixed it (which i doubt so), so you have your own preferences....

The Clarion HU with VAPS is a good match with the existing speakers, good enough as you say....

RM150 is reasonable, esp he need to re-spray the whole bumper to cover the scratches.... u dont spot spray the scratches, can see the paint diff alot...

Anyway, you bumped into him from the back, its always your fault.... if he report police, u first kena a RM300 saman, and then you lose your NCD (max 55%) from your insurance policy.... u do the maths...

It should not re-lock the car when the doors are open.... it is supposed to re-lock only if no doors are opened after 30 seconds...

The fuse are rated the same, 7.5A, 10A, 20A.... just that the size is about half the size of the bigger fuses...

U sell the mini fuses ka, how much??

Not temp of outside air, but cabin temp against temp set in dial la....

Situation 1. When cabin temp is lower than temp set in dial, car will auto "suck" hot air from outside to increase the temp to match the dial temp...

Situation 2. When cabin temp is higher than temp set in dial, car will keep the air recirculating....

Thus the reason why it auto "suck" smelly air from outside....


In order for the car not to do so (as you set the A\C to fully auto ma...), all u need to do is to press the fresh/recirculate air button to OFF then ON again... the car wont "suck" outside air irregardless if Situation 1 happens...

Only first batch owners get paper vouchers....

After that, Proton uses E-Vouchers where the data of your car and your service entitlement is recorded in their linked computer system.... check with the SC if your data is updated in their computer...

Means later batch owners will not have the paper vouchers...


And you should ask Proton instead of fellow owners, how would we know WHY Proton does it this way....

Been reading the Mitsu vs Proton AMP oil filter thingy and finding it amusing...

I was at one small but authorised SC doing oil change recently and they brought out Proton oil filters for Inspira. I then checked the dimensions of the Mitsu vs Proton filters, and they are the same in dimension and outlook, only diff if Mitsu filter is in black while Proton is blue...

I check with the SC Manager, and was told that its the latest Proton instructions to use Proton parts when the SC have exhausted their Mitsu filters, and why would Proton not wanna use their own branded filters?

So, you can ask for Mitsu oil filters when you change your oil, but you will prolly get Proton AMP filters from now on...

Haha.... signs of fatigue, laziness and simply boredom in wanting to wash the car... happens to most drivers that have the impulsive need to wash the new car everyday, and to wax the car every month....

Most will even drop the car polish/wax routine after 6 mths....

This is the main reason i SG my car.... coz me waaaaaay too lazy to wash and wax my car that frequently...

Its only twice a week now???

Wasnt it used to be EVERY night without fail???

And prior to that, wasnt it used to be AFTER each shower the car goes under??

Notice the trend???
