what will light bleed causes? i mean in future..

light bleed won't cause anything la. Its actually not a problem if you don't pay attention to it.

cheh.... i tot in future the spot will blinded or i tot same like dead pixel in future..

it will only be noticeable when you have black images or backgrounds on your ipad

Mine is 4.3.1 , think the early birds all same. Hopefully jailbreak coming out soon.

I recommend diamond screen protector.

I just returned the iPad I bought this morning.. Be careful ppl of Harvey Norman.. There's someone inside HN who is a con man.. The unit I bought was not wrap in plastic. I only realized this when I got home and opened it. The back of the iPad was slightly scratch. It was definitely not new.

They insisted that I return (and not refund me) and come and pick it up sometime later when they have stock. But obviously, they would probably only call me when May comes since if they have stock they would want to lock in more new customers.

I got a refund at the end though and bought direct from Apple. Hopefully no backlight bleed!

Added on April 29, 2011, 3:04 pmBtw, there's a brown corrugated box outside and the white Apple iPad box inside. I did not open the brown box to check. So ppl, beware we live in Malaysia with lots of unscrupulous ppl!

white ipad2 - slight light bleeding on the left side

so its true then that higher statistic that White Ipad 2 will leak lights

I purchased mine online and it will arrive in 2 weeks.. THEN I read about the lightbleeding so I'm extremely scared that I will get it...

ok, today is the day where lots of malaysian are getting their ipad 2...so my question now..do u guys suffer any backlight bleeding? i have 2 units here and both are bleeding....so my question is...should i exchange it tomorrow? or wait? as i know switch does not have any more stock left....exchanging them on tomorrow would not be possible....

I also having the same prob even I got it from Aus and also my iPad from us too....nothing big deal for me....most important it can still watch movie and other stuff.

mine is iPad 2 32gb Wifi Black, there is a screen bleed near the home button, but barely visible, need to look closely then only notice it I don't mind about it, since I applied the SP on my iPad 2 already, haha
