Hi Guys,

Currently using a cheapo sensonic 2.0 speaker. The speaker is good at making noise (no clarity, no bass) so I am planning to upgrade to a decent 2.1 speaker. I use it mostly to watch movie and playing various songs through itunes. (not much of R&B tho)

my room is very small. I think its around 10x6 (dorm room).

Could you guys recommend me a decent speaker at the price of RM120 and below? the cheaper the better. my budget is very tight now. sigh.

hey all ppls here, i nid some comments i planning to purchase Z5500 or Aego M this coming saturday.
i am more toward a music and movie kaki not much of a gaming freak. btw can i know which is more recommended? just dun talk about the 5.1 and 2.1 just all about audio quality, range, accuracy, sound stage.

from what i know tat Aego M is really nice audio quality, sharp and clean with very much top end accuracy and sound stage for a PC speaker.but with only sufficient bass for music but not movie.
Z5500 wise, i know is have monstrous bass but according to some review site the sound quality is not worth a penny. is tat true? especially in music.

if you like music then get AEGO M instead. there is one review here few years back, this guy own both AEGO M and Z5500 (2.1 mode) and he claims AEGO M far surpasses Z5500 in sound quality. well of course, Z5500 is a gaming speaker.

thx for ur input bro, but i too bad i hav no chance to audit the z5500 myself as i found a lots of shop dun display anymore. i just wanna know how bad is the Z5500? will it sound better then edifier S530 in music? or even worst? afaik Aego M can only play certain genre, some song on Aego M is a total frustration haha. i m looking for music + movie speaker =D any others recommendation below 1.2k?

tried edifier S530 =D for me i kinda ahem i think for tat price point i would go for Aego M or sound stick. as for T3 erm it just not my cup of tea.

so my choice is only Aego M sound stick or Z5500 =D or anything below 1.2k

though nothing beats the amazing quality of aego m but still these are worth a try

no razer for me haha... i hav kinda bad experience for pass 3 years with all their product, from mouse to keyboard to mousepad.
corsair sp2500 is an ideal alternative to them but i cant find any display going around in digital mall can any1 tell me where can i try it out?

can try Edifier HCS2330. but if you want some boom boom bass maybe ought to try other brand. perhaps altec or logitech z523

Or eith Edifier M3300. But the bass is pretty weak. You have to tweak it before achieving your preferred level.

compuzone is selling it now,so they might have a display unit,not sure.....
