tried edifier S530 =D for me i kinda ahem i think for tat price point i would go for Aego M or sound stick. as for T3 erm it just not my cup of tea.

so my choice is only Aego M sound stick or Z5500 =D or anything below 1.2k

no razer for me haha... i hav kinda bad experience for pass 3 years with all their product, from mouse to keyboard to mousepad.
corsair sp2500 is an ideal alternative to them but i cant find any display going around in digital mall can any1 tell me where can i try it out?

Please recommend me a combination of a 2.1 speaker + media box. (Sorry I don't know if it's right for me to ask a recommendation for a media box here, but I have a combine budget.)

Will be using it for my plasma TV. It's used for movies and TV programmes.

The budget for 2 of the devices plused together is RM700.

For the speakers, I would place highest importance on sound CLARITY. BOOM BOOM bass is not important for me.

For media box, it would be a plus if I can play the movies from my computer's hard drive through LAN cables/wifi because my computer is just about 5 feet away from the TV. But sticking a USB stick in is OK for me too if that would give me a better 2.1 speaker.

Currently im eyeing on the Aego M but it seems to be an old model although it's still performing pretty impressively. Just wondering, is there any speaker out there has better sound quality than the Aego M typically for music listening?

for music, you will never go wrong with edifier s730 plus it depends how you feed this beast, must use high quality sound card, music file must be lossless, the cable must change to quality one and etc..

sp2500 also the same thing. Rule of thumb. Crap in crap out.

Not sure if this is the right thread. I have a Samsung LED 46" hooked to Astro HD (HDMI), and a SFF PC (also hooked to PC via HDMI). I either watch Astro or more often, watch movies on my PC. I plan to add a Blu-Ray/PS3 to this mix soon.

Anyways I'm looking for a 2.1 solution that I can setup for all of these. Since there might be three input sources I guess I need an amplifier as well?

Can anyone suggest a system that would be ideal for movies with the above setups within budget range of RM 1500?

Em, If want to compare with my old Altec Lansing 4100, is it R501 will beat it ?
Today I try out S330 and R501, really hard to decided which 1 want to grab, 1 is for clear sound, another is for surround "boom" ~~~

z906 should work fine. but it does not support lossless surround sound such as dolby digital plus, dolby truehd, dts ma audio.
