what is the best driver for 6770M

4/12/2011 8.830.6.2000 or

12/30/2010 8.810.4.1000

and firefox's fonts and graphics look odd when running on the graphics card, but nice when on intel graphics. any one noticed?

and i can't switch graphics when im running windows live messenger 2011. dunno why :S it says unable to change due to a application, when i quit messenger i can switch.

Its the live messenger, other Acer with switchable GPU also has problem with that..

Every time i start my laptop, it keeps switching to the gfx card, even resuming from hibernate it switches to the card.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Seems driver/registry related.

Having a weird problem, done a clean install after getting the laptop, but seems like the turbo boost is not working at all, all the time CPUZ showing 2.0 Ghz max, even stress the core with one thread of Prime95~~~

Anyone who can help me with this problem??

I've gotten so many BSODs now. A few times after the error message saying the graphic card stopped responding and recovered and many times when I'm away so not sure what's the error.

Anyone faced the same situation? Any solutions to that?

wow alot of ppl facing problems with their dv6 units huh? now im afraid of getting it..hope theyre like just some isolated cases only

If hardware problem, then it's isolated.......if it is sofrware, then all will have the problem, just they probably wont notice, like my problem.

Possible to buy a 9 cell to replace the ori 6 cell battery?

Right-click the Catalyst icon in the system tray, select advanced graphics options. Go to Power Options, and untick the option to automatically change the graphics card settings according to power supply type. This should solve your problem
