how's the eject button for disk drive? seems not very sensitive and need to press very hard with fingernail to get it eject? or this is defect? can share this on you guys unit?

Yes, you literally need to use your nail to open it. I think few guys reported the same early on. Didn't bother much since i rarely use it and on my previous laptop, the dvd-rom is much harder to open.

Hi guys, last night I played online game Aika for the 1st time, my DV6 suddenly became very warm (left palm) and the fan speed was quite loud. Is it normal? Before, I played it on my A42JV and it's not under stress like DV6.

Yes, the left palmrest will get warm when gaming, already mentioned > 9000 times. Yeah the fan is quite loud when the temps reach 80 degree i think... that why HP bundled this laptop with a headphone.

well, i took the 24 months installment plan. Regarding the approval may take some times, i wasn't that sure, however based on these people who had bought it online, it will take approximately 14 days (excluding weekends and public holidays) to reach to us.

well, i feel the old promo is more worth it due to extra long warranty.

should they (HP) decline my purchase for god knows why, Im off with macpro....

i make my order during 06/06/2011, yesterday 08/06/2011 my credit card authorization department call for some verification,
today i check my order status is already from submitted change to admin (processing) via hp online store.

i think you just need to wait patiently until your credit card center to call you, i think that promotion only valid for online purchase.

14 working days is a long wait

today i try to purchase these item from online again, how come the discount e-coupon still valid, i though this promotion only will valid until 06/06/2011??

yup the e-coupon for the old promotion was still valid yesterday morning when I tried, but come night time, it wasnt anymore..or maybe it was just me

I reckon this promotion is online exclusive only but appreciate it if anyone that knows if the HP retail stores carries out the same promotion too lets me/us know on the forum
