LoL, I understand as I've gone through this lol... The day before I purchase the lappy, I've downloaded all drivers from hp official site... So when I get the lappy, I make recovery cd then straight do clean install.... ending up facing with the driver issue.. lolx  |

is it ok if the serial number is xxx120xxxx but the revision is still B2.
does it have the cougar point fault?

cpu-z says rev is B2.
so if the serial is ok (bigger than 108) no problem right?

A guy in notebookreview forum has ripped apart his DV6 to check on the chipset because Device Manager, CPU-z and HWinfo showing it still using B2 stepping. My laptop is gone for a week or two  damn, when I showed them there were no buzzing sound but there was when I use it at home. they say if the technician says no problem, i will not get a refund. lol  argh emo. btw 6114tx with the blue ray combo is priced @ rm3.8k 0.o not the same as 6001tx

I can confirm that 6114Tx is priced the same as 6001Tx. Just went to Lowyat today and saw that MS (Mobility Solution) list that 6001Tx comes with free upgrade to Blu-Ray @ RM 3699.00 |

Hey guys, I've just noticed tat dv6 has two design metal chasis and black lattice.
If purchase online how to select the black lattice design.
So far I've seen every dv6 on the market are metal chasis 1.
