Who are we to claim a lens is nub? Even pros with D3S owns this lens.
Its cheap and does its job, and it's very useful for many situations, especially for beginner/people looking for a prime after the kitlens.

Appreciation of a lens is depends on individual, its a good buy at below RM800. I know some Canon owners wanted the 35mm at affordable price, Nikon owners got the choice, but yet its not appreciated. It may not be god-like lens, but its very good for its price, and gives opportunity for those in budget to own and use it.

Plus, as I've mentioned before, can anyone actually differentiate which picture is taken with which lens just by merely looking at the picture alone?

duno... forum usually recommended hoya or B+W...other's will affect quality ..then they will advise you go naked instead attach the filter....

but someone told me ya...quality is the best when go naked...but for time being the lens UV coat will spoil then quality also drop too...so they advice get a nice filter for that tongue.gif

ermm.. wanna ask some quest..

I just saw someone post Nikon D300s body for sell at RM3350. Malaysian retail,as i know (correct me if i wrong) the price would be RM38++.00 .. He said it is imported from US ,but surely the item shown was made in thailand.. No warranty, so.... Should i buy it?

Does the warranty increase the value of D300s up to RM500(malaysian retail w/ warranty) ?

Thanks for any reply... biggrin.gif
