Hey Doc. Yeah , felt I've been away for a bit too long actually. Thankfully I still keep in touch with you on FB. BTW, Getting the SHURE's SE 535 or Ultimate Ears 10s? Good investement I tell ya
Yeah commitments commitments, settle that first we understand. Hows handling your monster over there? Ever thought of upgrading it anytime soon bro? BTW, Drivers can be a real b****. My drivers are pretty old so will need to update mine soon. I'm still running catalyst 10.## lols.. Im sure the GPU Performance will better with new more stable drivers. But I'd go Nvidia anyday over ATI.
Also sad to hear the M17x-R3 is a Single GPU....BAH. I wonder if dual GTX 460M Works? hMMmmm....
Whats he power limit on the M17x again?
Yea, I pretty much active in FB compared to LYN nowadays to update with my families and colleagues. Ahh.. Don't decide yet bro. I gotta admit, I am deeply poisoned by your Shire SE535 especially the way to wear that tiny little monster, look damn unique. Too bad the price is killing me. Prolly will go for UE TF10 with Gold Cable upgrade to maximize the sound quality output, those should be around RM 1,000+ if purchased the earphone from Amazon and ask Jaben to upgrade the cable. Much lesser than your godlike SE535 bro Yeah commitments commitments, settle that first we understand. Hows handling your monster over there? Ever thought of upgrading it anytime soon bro? Yes, my GPU is much stable after reverting back to my classic driver. I don't know either the driver or my system itself is the culprit. My system is getting old, I presume. If not its the present from someone, high chance for me to sell it to fund for M17x-R3 with 2GB ATi HD6970.
The main limitation for M17x-R3 to be equipped with 2 GPUs is the slot itself. Only one slot is allocated for GPU, kinda packed inside it since they thinned M17x-R3 a bit compared to its previous older brother. And like other marketing strategy, dual GPU is limited for the rest of Alienware series to be set as flagship for M18x. Now lets wait for Sifu GreaseMonkey90's M18x for his personal review
