ic.thats y i ask bout u gpu monitor software. when i use old version of gpuz, it show crazy number hehe.1.2 million ghz core clock hehe. thinking of changing to mx4 instead of as5. what kind of thermal paste do u use?

Unfortunately yea, there is no further BIOS support for newest GPU dedicated to our motherboard. No one officially try with ATi HD6970/6990 yet tho.

So far, yes. I am sad that we are missing the awesome effect of DirectX11

Thats the major downside that we are currently face.

GTX285M undergo slight micro-architecture adaptation toward i7 motherboard. Only minor performance increment with lack of Dx11 support (basically its GTX280M + little boast by overclocking)

First time writing in the Alienware Mothership. I just got my M11x's faulty hinge replaced. Didn't expect them to replace the screen as well though. xD

it's easier and less risky that way for them and for you.

aNyway i updated to the newest monitoring software. Also I found out that its the Stealth mode which is causing the issue. When my pc starts and I open the HWInfo software it shows 400/900. Then I press the stealth button to go into stealth mode, then press again to go back to normal. Open the same software again and its back to normal. Im using Artic Cooling MX2. I bought it early last year when I installed the ATI 5870 into my system. My ATI 5870 trade in. No point having it with me. I already have an extra GTX 260M in my closet lols.

Still at kampung? Enjoy ya? lols.... anyways I agree that Kelvin-hata is very helpfull.

so i ordered 2 580Ms with a $600 discount from dell. now my 2 6970s are up for grabs. the 6970s has been replaced twice. the replaced 6970s has never been OC'ed since.
