My M11x experience that too. When using advance with morph all light zone will not turn on during start up. End up removing the cmos battery and do power drain. It works but after a while same thing happen back.

QUOTE(UnitedBalls @ Sep 2 2011, 01:20 AM) Guys...I need some help with my m11x r1, fan full of dust. What is the safest way to clean it? I know there is a help section for m17x but isn't m11x different..and tips or tutorials on what to do? Use a can of air blower to blow off the dust. I just clean up mine last few days. Repasted and clean the dust that stuck in the fan chamber area that covers between the heatsink fin and fan. Temperatures never exceed 78 degree Celsius for cpu while gpu stays relatively cool at 62 degree Celsius when playing black ops [non AC room]. I can help you do it if you want. |

Haha! Love to tear it apart. Fully disassemble it except for the screen.

Here you can refer the manual on how to open it up. http://docs.us.dell.com/support/edocs/SYST...en/SM/index.htmGet some space and perfect tools, be sure to ground yourself. Do it when you have plenty of time. Good luck. |

QUOTE(MrUbikeledek @ Sep 6 2011, 11:24 AM) when at home, i plug my 24 inch LED monitor, mouse and keyboard into my m14x and turn the laptop into a CPU. But a friend told me that doing so too often may damaged the laptop onboard monitor, is this true? Did you ask back your friend for explanation? How is that even possible? |

QUOTE(MikeX @ Nov 3 2011, 04:33 PM) I thought Core-i7 should be hotter... i'll check out tonight. Sorry being busy settling the Treasures of the Sun DLC few days ago. Now can go full force BF3... I can run in ultra settings for Dungeon Siege 3... temp also at around 68 degrees... Same, real temp cause its lite. Ya using latest 285.62. Even after i clean the heatsink and apply new paste the temp is the same. By the way, what software u use to check temp? I use Real temp... is it accurate enough? Thanks bro... p.s.: It could be due to Nvidia driver. I'm suing the latest 285.62 version. Maybe u might want to upgrade your Nvidia driver. |
