ooo...
rca cables got difference in terms of quality ?? in fact all other cables do effect sound quality ??

normally if still new, people told me that we won't be able to differenciate the difference between a good cable and a cheap cable. for example, if i compare streetwire cable and van den hul, we won't be able to differenciate between the sound quality yet. but if u have lots of cash, go for it.. brows.gif

yes but only rca and speaker wire, thats why they go into the thousands of dollars, for high end they use home stereo cables, those can get into 5 digits already...

so depends on your budget lah, how much u can spend...for budget systems should be around rm300 for non cap ayam cables....

Hi, i have a Pioneer 5050, a Coral Component set, and an active sub woofer built in my car now, but i am quite confusing on the HU equalizer settings, songs i mostly listen is pop, i would like to know estimated how to set the equalizer a clear and powerful vocal sound and bass.. And the output voice need not be so sharp, Equalizer settings include:

EQ Setting 2:
High:3KHz, 8KHZ, 10KHZ, 12KHZ (2N, 2W, 1N, 1W)
Mid:200HZ, 500HZ, 1KHZ, 2KHZ (2N, 2W, 1N, 1W)
Low:40HZ, 80HZ, 100HZ, 160HZ (2N, 2W, 1N, 1W)

EQ Setting 1:
L- -6 to +6
M- -6 to +6
H- -6 to +6

Loudness: Low, Mid, High, Off

SW Setting 2:
50HZ, 63HZ, 80HZ,100HZ, 125HZ (Level +6 to -24)

this is roughly the main setting option, any bro can help? tongue.gif

if need power vocal sound and bass then you could use

EQ Setting 2:
High:12KHZ 2W
Mid:200HZ, 2N
Low:80HZ (1N, 1W) depends on your taste.

EQ Setting 1:
L- + 3
M - 0
H- -0 (if too crisp or sharp sound then you could reduce to -1 or -2)

Loudness: Low, Mid, High, Off. (depends on the setting on your amp, play around to feel the best feel)

SW Setting 2:
80HZ (Level +3)

However, the setting is required for different kind of songs from time to time due to the fluctuation in frequency during recording.

I tune it everytime i listen to different kind of songs. i tune
EQ Setting 1:
L-
M-
H-

others remain constant for most of the cases. Hope this might help.

if its at KF then dont worry about the price, u are paying for 1st class installation and a lot of experience, to make sure everything goes ok and u can come back for free troubleshooting and a bit of touch up tuning from Mr Liew
