got la, got nice brand like Brax but not with a nice price though. haha...
for ur budget, i suggest brands like JBL or Magnat for speakers and amps, HU as u wish la. can contact HowieChoo for his suggestions, he sells these stuffs.

hi, plz help me to get good amp to kick my two 10" subwoofers soundstream RFW-10. each of them has 500RMS, and do i need to get same brand or other brand can use?

other brand oso can... if u wan quality power this won't be cheap as u will need at least 500W rms @ 1 ohm for the subs. btw, ur sub is rated at 300W rms with dual 4ohm. wats ur budget in the first place?

sub rated at 300rms @ 4ohms with dual voice coil means u can either wired it up @ 8 ohms or 2 ohms. Best is to get a mono that pumps out 600rms @ 2 ohms or more

budget not too expensive, not more than 2k, can get or not? if i wan 2 ohm so how many watt amp do i need?

get a DLS A6, should do the job. 2nd hand less than 2k, try searching around.

dls a6 is a very good amp but i dun think its within 2k. eh... u can try rockford mono amp...

this is my ice to setup are:
soundstream anp 4chanel XTA 480.4 x1
monoblock amp - still looking
soundstream subwoofer RFW-10 x2
soundstream picaso comp PCC.6 x2set
and someone recommanded me for my monoblock is picasso PCA1000D. wat do u think about this amp? and price oso more than 2k.
do u think these setup are ok or .... just soo soo, or poor?

how much do i need to pay for installation charge for all of these items?

lol, i think u wan whole set soundstream... i personally not a big fan of soundstream, think this brand is over rated except for their old skool amp like JUBA series. if u wan to play SPL, by all means can go ahead. if SQ, i would rather go for another brand. but that's me. if u like it can go... just a few months back i saw someone selling 1 yr old DLS A6 for 1.6k onli. hehe... as for PCA1000D, it can go down to 2 ohm and produce 800W rms. try something dat can go down to 1 ohm so dat u can have more wiring option. cos since u got 2 subs with dual 4 ohm, so it gives u an option of 1, 4, 16 ohm. PCA1000D can onli go down to 2 ohm, so... be patience and start looking around for more options.

wat is different SPL and SQ? sory tat ask this noob question, but i really dun know. which brand is sound for SQ? if u, which brand would u choose for ya ICE?
my ICE setup budget is around 4k only with or without ice installation charge.
now very hard to find DLS A6 2nd hand de... dun know where to get it... anyone know?

someone told me that he tried to go 1 ohm with his amp before, and his sub bunt. is it safe any amps to go down until 1 ohm?

dun use cap ayam can d. u can check my signature for wat i'm using.
SQ= sound quality, sweet sounding system that u can enjoy with, SPL = Sound Pressure Level, be heard before seen.
i suggest to wait for a gud amp if u r not that hurry to install the system. not every amp can go down to 1 ohm, check the instruction manual of the amp to be sure. DLS are well known throughout the ICE world, mainly based on SQ systems, but they got stuffs for SPL application, too.
u can search around in other forums like gr8tunes.net here and mycarhifi.com here.

maybe need to wait de for good amp de if like, so SQ is better SPL rite?if it is, maybe i will go for SQ but need take time ^^. coz small pocket. is it soundstream is cap ayam brand? so my comp need to change brand? and is it SQ depend on amp ? can u plz list few of SQ brand? will be easy for me.

no no... soundstream is no cap ayam, it's USA branded stuffs, but now mostly made in China and their stuffs r *i think* overrated and over priced.
SQ or SPL, depends on personal taste and requirement, if u like to show off, go for SPL. last time i tried SPL, but now getting older, can't stand music too loud, so i go for SQ setup. or there's something in between call SQL, 50% SQ, 50% SPL, but this ain't cheap too, the difference is onli having more or bigger sub than SQ setups while sound quality up front won't kalah SQ setup a lot... juz my 2cents.
u listen to ur system first, see wat is lack in ur system, then onli find ways to add on. oh ya, HU oso plays a very important role, mid end HU usually ranges between 1k-1.5k for better SQ. so if u really interested in SQ setups, can contact pisces for a TT(teh tarik) and audit other systems if u live around KL. Cheers...

oh ic many thkzzz u. i live around kota damansara, wish can TT and take some more advice from u....

hahaha i like to listen to sound with big bass, something like sound play in da club. can feel my heart my the bas and im still young, maybe i am now like you were before^^. if i use double din dvd china made, will it affect to sound?coz i bought it 1k from max audio. and one more is it neccesary tat i need two set of comp.? and original soundstream made from china too?

1k made in china?? i think u kena sotong d. double din doesn't give u extra SQ, just the looks onli. i can't comment on ur system cos i haven't heard b4. i suggest u stick with ur current system. and just get a monoblock will do. it's gud enough for the time being. as 1 or 2 sets component, SPL will need 2 sets. SQ 1 set will do. Original soundstream oso made in China cos the factory is there. If u wan big bass, make sure the woofer box is made properly according to the specs, gud workmanship is required.
i'm oso quite young la, just dat i got bored with clubbing and stuffs, now prefer to enjoy life.

ckmoy... ur setup abit too rojak.. pening kepala. Why are u planning to change to morel/scans if i can ask?

right now, plan to go for supremo, heard these tweets b4, and liked them. love its off axis capability. i like wide staging. as for scans, so many gud comments about them especially the ring radiator, but kinda pricey. just considering... think u having if u using F1.

scanspeak ring radiator is an absolutely wonderful and very detailed tweeters but works best on axis with the tweets facing u. alternative, try the dome type scans..
