hi, i apologies 1st if this is the wrong place to ask...

anyways, i'm planning to change my existing non working car audio player (default honda civic eg6 1992) wif a new spanking dvd-mpe player within rm600 budget

iinm, the speakers still func properly tho even after a long bein unused,lol

i'm in kk, sbh rite now n don't rly know crap bout tis stuffs, appreciate any1 giving me some advice on picking a good player, need to know basis before asking the shops.

i'm a big fan of sony's stuffs btw

rm600 including the monitor or just the single din DVD player without the screen? even for a simple mp3 CD player can cost u rm400 or so easily. even those china brands DVD player with screen oso cost around rm1k.

oops, i mean without the screen. i'm not quite fond to fancy my car here wif all the non essential stuffs...

usually how much if a shop would charge for the assemblies? or by any chance for a repair or rewiring, how much or it?

in KK, installation might cost bout rm30 or so if juz the player alone, mostly they dun charge u if u buy the player from them. as for repair, depends wat is needed to be repaired. u can juz use back ur original wires if u are not adding an amp, no need to rewire. rm600 for a dvd player is not impossible but for a branded spanking new one, depends on ur luck la, especially in KK where the price of car audio is quite high comparatively.

Just a 'decent' comp set would have already cost you more than RM500. Unless you are ready to accept cap ayam stuffs or used sets.

You can try Sony speakers but they may not meet your definition of decent (depending on your expectation). Don't be fooled by the name Sony. Sony TVs but ICE products

Would like to ask for recommendation of 2 Din Car Audio player.
My cousin's car player just kaput recently. Would like to find another new one.

Here are the specs:
- Screen, DVD/CD/MP3 Playback, Support Reverse Cam, Can plug In Ipod, GPS (optional).
- Budget not beyond 2K
- Any reliable brand.

i plannig to chnage my myvi stock cd player and install some basic speaker /componenet for it.. some shop suggest me start wth pioneer 5250 and install sound steam xcs.6. is it a proper set start?advice pls. maybe wan change weekend.. purpose of upgade, wan better sound quality. will do the sound proof aftger install the player and speaker. if puchong / klang got any sifu, pls recommend.. yesterday drop by one shop in meru klang, the combination is suggested by them.
