and anyone know where I can get a clear screen protector for it? The SS15 shop only had the matte one and I didn't want it.

How much longer do i have to wait... my BB cacat ad...im sick of the constant lag and white scrren of death issues...need a new phone suitable for work..email,notes etc..hence android is the way to go..multiple home screens..

Price wud be the issue..i wud wnt to knw when i invest my money it wud be worth the pay..when u compare the phones u see a lot of difeerence in terms of price..from htc IS being cheaper,then lg, and then the sgs2. Hmmm sens ation eh, damn it..i have to say,i like htc..but their battery life is crap to the max..for all models...read thousands user revieews, and they all say the

nah, i dont have any intentions of rooting it, I dont get much out of rooting rite now..

mayb in afew months time where all the custom roms come out, then il root.. until then.... i want to try out for a month at least on how touchwiz 4.0 performs and whether it can adapt to my environment.

Not saying htc is better or not than sgs2 or the other way around...this is the good part of having forums...we get to share info and feedbacks from users and owners of the actual phones...instead of looking at it solely on paper..we get the user - experience feedbacks...wether its biased or not, we would want to know..

OK, I think I'll probably wait for strictly's dummy guide on how to root the SGS II.

for myself, i'm all for SGS2. but i admit that HTC has the upper hand with their Sense UI and the sturdy build. now.. if only they have 1GB RAM and a better camera..

Regster urself @ this site first (foc) samfirmware.com and download SGS2 stock firmware or just look over the XDA. Someone posted XWKDD firmware which is same as our set. This is for recovery and back to stock mode.

Unless the screen protector is free,I don't see the need-SGS2 is equipped with Gorilla Glass-virtually indestructible

dunu who teach u that, but the gorrila glass is scratch-RESISTANT, NOT scratch-PROOF.

Resistant and proof is 2 damn hell and heaven issues.

as long as its not matte protector or mirror type, the color shouldnt be affected that badly....

I meant like just fork out mayb 200rm for the protector if needed and if its worth its price, but, really, the price does apply to whether ur willing, some think its worth it, some cant even reason it out, some have all the reasons in the world to buy one..
u already paid 2.8k for the device, why not another 200 to round it up to 3k LOL

those who want to grab a dual core phone should try out optimus 2x, second hand sells for 1.4k, bloody worth the price if u ask me.

I thought of buying the sgs2 as a memorial of the last "most powerful android device in 2011 made by Samsung to date" and then keep it LOLOLOL.....

then use the o2x for daily stuffs, but I still need to test the sgs2.
