Small Update about my status:

FOR ALL SGS 2 BUYERS:
Today, a Digitec worker (where I pre-ordered my SGS 2) said, it will arrive at 25.04 (in 5-6 days) in Switzerland...

MY PERSONAL STATUS:
Now I can't have everything (car has priority) - I'd have to cancel it - I also have to sell my iMac where I produce the ROMs and work with a notebook which has half the screen size (worse for developing).

I don't *NEED* donations as I can do some extra work for a few months to get the money I need (you know, it's not just about the car itself, there are also other fees).

I really don't feel good if people just throw the money at me - it's like you just get something if you didn't work for it...

WHAT THIS MEANS:
This is painful to say, but I just don't find any time to develop in the next few weeks... You can either stay with v9.5, v10 RC4, official JVB Gingerbread or another ROM - it's your choice.

WHAT I WANTED TO SAY:

lucky I stopped using his rom. or else I might be disappointed.
BTW, I don't notice any improvement to my gps after doing that "pressure fix". I tried both with and w/o, almost the same result. no ground-shattering result or whatever. I cleared gps data, reboot prior to every test. either pushed too hard or my gps is completely f***ed up, idk.

similar to a hardware lagfix, what he's trying to do is to improve the contact between the gps antenna and the copper contact... only 1 thing i'm worried, with something applying pressure on that area, if it is for a long period and after some time the tape or something is removed, will the copper contact be lowered and there is a need to always apply pressure to that area or not... the copper contact is design in a way that it is lifted and lightly touch the antenna only.

anyways didnt see any improvements after trying... after all i operated on it

i've install some gingerbread keyboard in my JVB..
seems like it not smooth like bfore on froyo.. can't type fast.. but the stock samsung keyboard can.. haizz.. why ha?

i like ginger keyboard coz i can hide the "setting" button.. easy to press "."

i dont know why mine cant even found any ,even i press. is it cause my current area? sad......

after 3 days with stock JVB, now i flash back to Froyo JS8. The gingerbread seems not quite stable for my daily use. Tried to apply Hacked Voodoo, but end up with a soft brick couple of time. so now revert back to JS8..

i have this prob with my brightness display sensor. it swith between bright and dim very frequent on both jvb and jvk. u guys got it?

1st look on goatrip. its got a damn cool launcher! shall test a few days.. before deciding to switch to simply galaxy 3.1 jvb based (releasing soon)

On the contrary, I find that MIUI is very smooth...the scrolling in File Explorer, the opening of apps in Manage Applications, etc..very smooth and quick......In setting? maybe a bit lag, but not significant...after all, not much to scroll cause the menu list is quite short......scrolling in the long Contact list also very smooth...

To reduce battery drainage, switch-off Auto Rotate function. It will cause some apps to make the sensor run in the background non stop until you reboot the phone...it is like the famous Gallery bug in Froyo...

Yup, the Rom rocks....let's hope Mambo and team can solve more issues soon....
