"latest firmware in malaysia is froyo dxjpe 2.2. it's laggy compared to 2.2.1/2.3 lol

so we will usualli flash to other region's firmwares through 'odin' (one of the methods of flashing)

then, those hardcore flashers will usualli proceed to custom rom/kernel to gain maximum satisfaction haha

i'd say it's 99% unbrickable, even if it does, it will be covered under warranty "
i agree..one of the benefit that use android is download apps with FOC..rclxms.gif
and it is easy to use..

btw..any disadvantages on this model ? sure have some unsatisfaction de

then which rom bro u suggest ?  tongue.gif
*
it's ur choice. now we are hooked to gingerbread firmware. now i'm using the miui rom, but it drains battery a lot faster than other roms sweat.gif

perhaps you can try to stay on stock gingerbread rom atm and monitor the battery life

Hee. MY sister will be getting the Galaxy S too, poisoned after trying out my phone lol laugh.gif It's pretty much complete, and to me will last quite a while unless there's revolutionary (i.e : an iron together inside a phone) or something along those lines, then I'll get myself a new phone LOL.

the rrp for galaxy s 16gb was rm2.6k when it was released in malaysia. just that the price drops fast unlike iphone. basically all phones are expensive (high end)

you cant really say all iphone users r rich. even a toilet cleaner owns one lol rolleyes.gif
