haha steelbook arrived this morning. in good condition, AMZ CANADA used fill-air inflatable packaging to protect the disc, AMZ CANADA is my 1st choice now.

Added on April 23, 2011, 10:32 ama home entertainment disc is to present the movi in the way that the movi director intended to, WAR OF THE WORLD is meant to be grainy, so the BD present it in grainny way. it is faithful to director's intention.

i am not arguing that WAR OF THE WORLD has no grain, i am saying the grainy look is natural & faithful to the movi original look. it is the best presentation of the movi original look.

if it is not original & failure in transfer, DVD TALK REVIEW, BLURAY.COM & BLURAY HIDIFDIGEST would not give iy 4 /4.5 star rating.

the movi applied heavy grain reduction is FRENCH CONNECTION & PREDATOR, both received bad reviews.

Not an arguement, brother, but a personnel opinion, and it is my cup of tea.

Watched Kill Bill vol 1(bought from Johnbluraylover) yesterday night.... I'm impressed with the transfer and remastering.... The haunting song "Bang Bang" send shivers down my spine and kept playing in my head until now....

It is definitely one of Tarantino's best work....looking forward to vol 2!

talking bout Kill Bill , here's the Volume 1 steelbook...

Its absolutely useless to me.. I once tried to load it into my sony mp4 player but gave up after I found out how diificult it was..
Legal issues .. hmmnn... technically once u buy de original bd, u r legally allowed to make cps for personal consumption.. its when u 'share' [ more than once ] tat it becomes illegal..

After saying tat, I do see sum sellers jus sellin de dgtl cp itself for a few bucks..

Amazon only got 1 edition which is this version. Yes, only 1 disc inside.

Actually I didn't buy also... ops! haha! On thinking getting the Canada version as it came with better cover and came with Slipcover!

Just watched some parts of 71 into fire, KILL BILL 1 & 2 from CANADA, YIYI, FLOWER & SNAKE, all looks good.

KILL BILL 1 & 2 ALLIANCE QUALITY = AMAZON UK, dif is the cool steel book.

also tried PSYCHO black & white, very sharp, much better than DVD.

TAXI DRIVER is gonna to be my TOP 10 BLURAY DISC, good movi with good bluray release, pic/sound/packing & price all a must.

INCREDIBLES - DISNEY PIXAR also looks very good.
