rain55: Get your income tax file opened at LHDN closest to you.
PCB means the "estimated" tax has been deductible from your salary. Actual tax payable is after you submit your Form BE. The ex-employer will provide YA2010 EA form for income received from January to July 2010. |

QUOTE(rain55 @ Dec 27 2010, 11:39 AM) I was working starting from sep 2009,so in 2009 my Jumlah is only around 9k.But In my EA of 2009, Section D: Potongan cukia berjadual :RMxx, so I was so confuse now. Is tat mean when the is PCB in my EA i must get the BE form and fill it already? Officially you can submit Form BE 2009 as soon as possible based on the 2009 EA Form (Sep 2009 to Dec 2009) now.I called lhdn, they said my company already created an account for me in 2009. They advise me to go to lhdn nearby anc request the BE form of 2009 to be filled up. Is that correct, i means now is already year 2010 December, i still can submit the BE form of 2009? Then next year (before 30 April 2011), submit the Form BE 2010. Subsequently, every year you need to submit unless LHDN advise otherwise. |

QUOTE(Marcian @ Dec 28 2010, 10:52 AM) Is it worth putting in money for SSPN? Let's say I'm taxable at the 19% bracket, and I put in RM3,000. My taxable income will be reduced by RM3,000 and I save RM570. Is it calculated like that? That's how we save lots of taxes...and treat it as savings for your child's future education.Dividend for year 2009 was 2.5% p.a. QUOTE Withdrawals are allowed after a period of 1 year upon opening of an account. There are 2 types of withdrawals: 10% withdrawal of current balance OR RM500, whichever is lower, once a year; OR 100% withdrawal (termination of account) in the following cases: - The child is offered a place in any higher learning institution; - The child has voluntarily withdrawn from the education system OR has been expelled for a specific reason; - Suffering from an illness certified by a doctor as being incurable; - Experience total permanent disability as certified by a doctor; - Death of the child; or - Death of the depositor. |

it so easy to DIY for wage earners... Why waste money on an accountant for filing tax only?
Only claim books on the actual amount you paid to the cashier (after all discounts) |

QUOTE(jady @ Jan 17 2011, 04:23 AM) My account clerk made stupid mistake by dumping extra money into my PCB deduction. Their best way to solve it, is by asking me to return back the money to company, monthly deduct my salary. Fired the Accounts Clerk and the supervisor for not checking correctly. |

QUOTE(fraulein @ Feb 2 2011, 11:33 PM) Hi, as answered by some forumers earlier, I understand that PTPTN repayment is not entitled as tax relief. But if I'm planning to repay ptptn by salary deduction, will the annual income I filled in C3 (the one stated in EA form) is the income minus ptptn or just the original 12 month + bonus income? My answer would be: just the original 12 month + bonus incomePTPTN is just like any expenses which is not tax-exempted. Get cheap loan and want tax-exemption ah ? |
